<< Limitations on Nexus 4, 5, and 7 (2013) >>

Nexus 4, 5, and 7 (2013) have these limitations:
- Snoop / Live wallpaper / Daydream modes don't work with several player apps

[Compatible apps]
- Built-in player (note: not Snoop mode)
- Google Play Music
- n7player Music Player
- doubleTwist Music Player
- PlayerPro Music Player (without DSP pack)
- Rocket Player Free

[Incompatible apps]
- PowerAmp
- Pandra internet radio
- Winamp
- Rocket Player Premium
- PlayerPro Music Player (with DSP pack)
- GoneMAD Music Player
- Neutron Music Player

- Use compatible apps

[Technical infos.]
- Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2013) support Low Latency audio playback feature. In Low Latency audio playback mode, audio capturing process is bypassed. Maybe… compatible apps use MediaPlayer class for audio playback, and incompatible apps use OpenSL ES APIs.
- Nexus 7 (2012) doesn't support low latency option.
- Nexus 10 supports low latency audio, but it has no problem with all above apps. Maybe the difference is caused by hardware and driver implementation. N4 and new N7 are using Snapdragon SOC, but N10 uses Samsung's Exynos SOC.
