Very good pie. Nice char and chew on my alla Diavola. Sauce is top notch and the spicy salami was perfectly crisped and tasty. Worth the trip to write it off your bucket list (supposedly first/oldest pizza place in the world) if in the Naples area

We got a pizza port'alba. The clams were tasty, but the pizza dough in the center was not baked well -- possibly affected by all the clam juice.

I took a pizza Margherita da asportare and was very, very disappointed. First of all the box: it was just a standard box without any recognizable print so I could not show off that I ate at the oldest pizzeria in the world. That in itself of course is unimportant. But because the box was so small, the pizza was not big itself. Of course size doesn't matter either if the taste is good. But again, I was absolutely not satisfied. The pizza did not taste great at all. Maybe my experience was so bad because it was already late (around 22.30) and they were near closing time, maybe it was just a bad day. But whatever the reason my expectations weren't fullfied and I can't recommend the pizza Margherita here.

Ordered margherita (just cheese) and Parmigianino melazane (eggplant) pizzas and risotto pescatore and three fantas. The eggplant pizza was good, the margherita too plain, and the risotto not as creamy as I'd expected. with €2 coperto/person total was €34.

The most excellent pizza! Service is not so fast, but it is as expected: nobody hurry in the South Italy. The one thing I really didn't like is annoying flower sellers and musicians bustling around and distracting you from your talk and food. They can walk among the tables because the open air restaurant is on a public street.

Passable for a rainy Sunday evening when all else is closed, but would never choose over Sorbillo etc
