I have been here both for the weekend brunch and on a weekday evening for dinner and drinks - both are very different experiences. If you want good (but not amazing) Italian food and cocktails in a laid back, kitschy vibe then visit Monday - Thursday. It's a good, lively night out. However, if you are more focused on the booze and a crazy weekend, book in for brunch! At £35 a head, that covers all your food (again, not the best food) and all your prosecco for 2.5 hours. Prosecco. On tap. For 2.5 hours. That alone is worth more than the £35 cover charge! Everyone gets very drunk, very quickly and the karaoke and dancing are hilarious. A great choice for a birthday party as it takes the fuss out of splitting bills and having to organise a place to dance after dinner. Bottom line: If loud music and drunk people before 5pm is your idea of hell - avoid this place. However, if you are looking for a raucous and very fun day out - Bunga Bunga brunch is hard to beat. (Side note - use the cloakroom, belonging do tend to go missing if left in the restaurant area when everyone is dancing)

Fun, lively and unique! I went here for a friends birthday meal at 12pm, this meant we got unlimited Prosecco at the table for the next 2 hours, we had a meat course, a pizza course, and a very small dessert course... The meat was taken away before we'd finished it, (as we were waiting for more people we didn't want to eat it all), the same happened with the pizza course, the pizzas were very nice. They were long and have 4 different flavours on them. What made this place stand out was how fun the place was, the main guy in charge of the place was laughing and joking with everyone and made the place more fun. The place turned into more of a bar with a karaoke, dancing, cabaret act...at 2pm, so definitely a fun experience! For the cost my friend had paid for deposit of £100 and we had to pay around £40 on the day, can't remember the number of people but it felt like it was a tad more than we should have.

Great night out, loved the decor and the Italian feel. Played loads of oldies but goody songs and we danced all night. Next time we have to sample some of the delicious food.

I went here for a friend's birthday with a good crowd of people. I have given it two stars for it's atmosphere which is lively and driven by an eclectic mix of party goers. However I can't really find a reason to award it any more. The staff are an unpleasant mix of faux fur wearing princesses with clip boards and aggressive bouncers who feel it is necessary to constantly barge through the middle of the miniscule dance floor. This brings me to my next issue - the size of the place. It is literally two tasteless living rooms on top of each other. The biggest problem of all however, is the cost. You pay £10 for entry (and that was on guest list so im not sure if it differs if you just turn up), and once inside it gets worse. £7.50 for a shot of anything, £8 a beer and £30 for a bottle of what tastes like home made wine. Perhaps the cover charge could be excused if they offered some decent music, but it appears they employ a Rolf Harris lookalike to press skip on the latest edition of "Now!". I rate my nights on value. If I have a pretty weak night but it costs a tenner then im not fussed. Equally if I have an absolute banger and it sets me back £200 then I can deal with that. The problem with Bunga Bunga is that they are highly unlikely to facilitate an absolute banger, nor can they promise you a night that will cost less than £50. Go to Doodle Bar just down the road - much better!

This is a terrible place. I came here with a group of friends to enjoy the brunch (at 35pounds a head). The brunch itself was more of a lunch. The three courses started with cold meats and stale bread then went on to be a huge pizza with several sections of different topings. Not only was this grossly misadvertised, but it also was distinctly average. The third course is not even worth mentioning (it was a tiny plate of pastry topped with nutella and bananas). To pay 35 pounds for that is outrageous and makes you want to drink more of the cheap prosecco they provide. To top it all off, the cloakroom lost one of my friend's coats. Upon discovery of this, we were unceremonioulsy and forcefully booted out of the venue resulting in her having to go home merely with a light jumper in these November temperatures.

Can't wait to go back here for a full night - my last memory was sparkly confetti from the sky with Mariah Carey's 'all I want for xmas' blasting out in July, and it was amazing. Would love to go back for food and a night of karaoke in the Eurovision room drinking out of Jedward's head. The randomness of this place is what makes it unique.
