Loved this place in spite of the only person working there determined to ruin the night, the demoralizing and rude Karaoke DJ on Thursday 16/04/2015! Some memorable quotes from the Karaoke Grinch: "Who would want to stand around to watch people sing terribly", "That's a rubbish song choice. I don't want to play it" and my personal favourites: "I hate Karaoke", something about how he used to DJ in Ibiza in '94 and "Anything Madonna should never be a Karaoke song" - What?! . His bitterness was clearly consuming him and all he wanted to do was ridicule and take the fun out of getting up on stage to sing your heart in front of a bevvy friends and strangers! He wouldn't last 10 minutes in Japan! Highlights: Great Food. Great staff (except the Karaoke DJ, if it wasn't clear, I didn't like him at all). Great Live act at the beginning of the night. A few free drinks courtesy of Red Bull. Helpful bouncers.

Really disappointing. Very unattentive staff, it wasn't a busy night & not once did the staff check if the food was ok or if we needed more drinks - we had to ask every time to place drinks orders and it felt like hard work! The pizza is not good value, toppings used sparingly & small for the price. Luckily I was in great company, but I would not recommend this place at all.

Love this place. Atmosphere & Decor are great. And the food is amazing. Only thing I find difficult is sharing! We went here last night with friends (slightly worried that it was Valentines but they didn't change the set up to fit in loads of couples or put up sickly hearts, or on the table or menu..I digress). Our waitress was this little Italian cutie who was so cheerful & helpful she made you feel like you were friends. We had too many dishes to jot down here but the stand outs were the pork presa - it didn't look or taste like pork but truly amazing. And the chocolate fondant. Though to be honest I feel like I really should include the whole list...even the spinach with olives & pine nuts tasted great (meat dishes generally beat everything else for me!)

Fantastic! I went to Bunga Bunga with my friends last night and it was awesome! The staff was friendly and we had great talk with them. There was plenty of beer for our table and the food was good. And, of course, we sang…and sang...undisturbed. Great place!

Microphones are tuned awfully. If you are looking for a karaoke place - that is not it! Drinks and food are great, a bit costy though, music is okay, but karaoke - hell no! never!

Atmosphere was kitsch and over the top in a good way, wait staff were great and attentive, food was rather good, you do feel rushed to finish by times however we knew ahead of time how long we had so that was fine. Then comes the Karaoke and entertainment portion of the evening, my wife and I were very excited for Karaoke as we've sung at clubs all over, but the "DJ" was extremely rude and warned my wife he would cut her off if her performance wasn't good enough, if he allowed her to sing at all!? This really goes against the spirit of Karaoke and kinda ruined the night for us as we were mainly going to have a night out and have a light night of singing etc. Needless to say we won't be going back, and if you like Karaoke this isn't the place to do that, go find a small pub with a real Karaoke setup and real people.

Booked in advance and still had to be content with the early 7pm sitting for this novelty, themed restaurant, decked out in Italian memorabilia, with props adorning all wall space. The house wine was awful and was served luke warm in carafes - it had to go back and was replaced by more that was only slightly cooler. Expensive sharing cocktails are also available complete with sparklers and giant straws. If you are going you are probably safest sticking with pizza which is nothing more than average, but preferable to the tiny portion of main you may get otherwise. Throughout the night the waiting staff break into choreographed dance routines to loud music. Funny the first time was wears a bit thin. Towards the end of the meal you felt under pressure to give up table for the next sitting. Entertainment around the bar takes the form of a seriously bad singer who claimed to do 'covers of pop songs and takes requests', yet knew none of the songs we asked for which were far from out of the ordinary. The night descends into karaoke upstairs until 2am.

I have been here both for the weekend brunch and on a weekday evening for dinner and drinks - both are very different experiences. If you want good (but not amazing) Italian food and cocktails in a laid back, kitschy vibe then visit Monday - Thursday. It's a good, lively night out. However, if you are more focused on the booze and a crazy weekend, book in for brunch! At £35 a head, that covers all your food (again, not the best food) and all your prosecco for 2.5 hours. Prosecco. On tap. For 2.5 hours. That alone is worth more than the £35 cover charge! Everyone gets very drunk, very quickly and the karaoke and dancing are hilarious. A great choice for a birthday party as it takes the fuss out of splitting bills and having to organise a place to dance after dinner. Bottom line: If loud music and drunk people before 5pm is your idea of hell - avoid this place. However, if you are looking for a raucous and very fun day out - Bunga Bunga brunch is hard to beat. (Side note - use the cloakroom, belonging do tend to go missing if left in the restaurant area when everyone is dancing)
