Great apartments. From what I understand, there had been problems with past management a number of years ago. My wife and I haven't experienced those problems at all. The management has been very gracious and helpful. The maintenance staff usually solves requests either the same day or next day. The community is beautiful and well kept. There are some odd neighbors occasionally, and the noise some nights can be a bit much from the party crowd if you keep your windows open, but any noise issues we've had have been dwindling as prices have increased. Expensive apartments, but a good deal if you can get in.

I enjoyed my time there very much! management was nice and competent. Zero complaints in fact I went back to look it over only because I had fond memories of my time there.

I have lived here for over two years and I am finally moving out. The management seems nice, but they do nothing to solve problems. I had a serious problem with a smoker beneath me smoking in his bathroom and venting the smoke up into mine. I thought this would be an easy solution, you just post notices to inspect units, find smoker, scare him clean or evict him (it is now legal to evict for breaking the lease by smoking in units). But nooo. No no. I complained twice a week, in person, for two months. Finally the manager agreed to post a letter in the building, "but it would take two weeks to write" she said. Yeah, it took 6 weeks to write, and it was only written after I went nuts on the night watchman demanding he find the smoker. They never found the smoker. They cannot and do not enforce the non-smoking policy, actually, it is worse having the policy as the smokers hole up in bathrooms and vent smoke into other bathrooms. Stay away from the Crossing. There are better deals at owner managed properties.

Way too noisy. Fighting and sex from the side. Constant ball bouncing and jumping from above. Management says they can't enforce rules and to call the police. (Police say it's management's responsibility.) Office is unfriendly and unhelpful when problems arise. Management tries to cover up crimes. Corporate had to be contacted. In just a year, we've had three car break ins, one vehicle theft, one car paintballed, and someone's apartment broken into with a crowbar. (Thief is suspected to be a tenant or a guest.) Management disbanded Neighborhood Watch when tenants began sharing information. Beautiful complex, but toxic and dangerous atmosphere.

Very nice looking facility from the outside however management is horrible, the facilities break down a lot and they are not an honest company in my opinion. When yo go to leave the apartment they will charge you a lot even if you cleaned and painted so beware.

Worst apartment living experience ever. The manager and staff are inconsiderate, lazy, and have no desire other than to do the bare minimum to serve existing clients. Maintenance is sub par and the grounds are littered with trash. The actual apartments are nice, it's the people who live and work there that are the problem. Spend your money elsewhere.

The Crossing has the absolute worst maintenance and management of any place I have ever lived. Everyone that works in the office is rude from day one. Things break all the time and remain broken for months, including doors, hot tub, parking garage gates, etc. Every door throughout the complex is locked with a magnet and sometimes the magnets stop releasing. I have lived here for 10 months and the door on the 3rd floor that leads down to the dog area has been broken the entire time. Every time I take my dog out I have to take the stairs to the second floor and then walk to the elevator to go up to the 3rd floor. The hot tub has been broken for a total of 2 months now. They did have caution tape all around it, but recently they took it down. I guess it was making it more obvious how long it was taking them to get it fixed. It is still broken, but at least the potential residents won't know until they sign the lease. Now on to the water... They love to cut off the water completely or the hot water on several occasions (at the worst times ever) in order to "work on it". This past Saturday the hot water was cut off from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm.... you know when everyone is off work and usually wanting to take a shower. I would complain about this more except for the fact that I really would like for them to "work" on the water. You see, the water at this complex has a super high amount of calcium in it. Not only does the disgusting amount of calcium make it to where you would rather hand wash every dish you have than use the dishwasher, it also gives you acne. My husband and I have never had problems with acne until moving here. The calcium gets into your pores and has not only caused tons of permanent acne scars on my face, but it also caused an infection under the skin. The entire left side of my face swelled up and I had to get put on antibiotics. How do I know this is from the calcium, you ask? I went to an Esthetician and actually had calcium extracted from my pores. She confirmed that the hard white substances that she painfully pushed out were calcium. Now for the most recent occasion... The parking garage gate has been broken for 2 weeks. Last night, our car was broken into. In the process of losing our marriage license, my husband's passport, wallet (banking accounts drained), iTouch, and GPS, our parking garage clicker was also stolen. We went to talk to The Crossing management about what happened... There are security cameras - Will they look at them? No. The gate has been broken for 2 weeks. - Do they accept any responsibility to not providing accurate security? No. Apparently the gates are just "entry gates", they are not for security. What about the security guards? They changed the subject on that one. So... after our whole world has been stolen, what does The Crossing say? We need to pay them $100 for the garage clicker that was stolen in the process.... Heartless is all that comes to mind at the moment. I have not even mentioned the lack of cleanliness... Sure they keep the office and the areas where they bring potential new residents clean, but everywhere else is another story. Overflowing trash, failure to keep the "Clean up after your Pet" stations stocked... aka there is dog mess everywhere... I could go on forever. Just do NOT move here and don't let your friends move here either. PS this is the first bad review that I have ever written... I'm not a complainer... that's just how bad it is.
