Eye to eye, and it was real, I don't use 500mm lens :)) He definitely didn't want me out there. According to NP, most people injuries and even deaths come from encounters with Bisons. So be careful out there.

Beautiful capture
The salty creeks and briny run-off which occasionally flow into the dry basin of Death Valley National Park can give life to an otherwise stark scene. Or perhaps it’s just an otherworldly peek into the fiery depths below.
