Small Business Saturday Sale: $100 for a 3-hour seafood cooking class and wine tasting!

Join us Saturday, December 6th at either 1pm or 6pm for a very special Feast of the Seven Fishes cooking class in Midtown Manhattan.

During this 3-hour class we'll make:
- Spaghetti alle vongole.
- Butter risotto with shaved bottarga.
- Linguine Amalfitana.
- A delicious stuffing that can be used with clams, mussels or shrimp.
- Fresh bread from scratch perfect for sopping up all the delicious sauces.
- Olives and other snacking treats procured from classic Little Italy/Arthur Avenue shops.
- Each student will have a chance to chop, cook, stir and serve. Once we're done, we'll sit down together for a family style meal.
- A selection of wine specially paired for our meal.

You'll be amazed how much you'll learn when you're in the kitchen. Cookbooks are great, but there's nothing like learning exactly how the garlic smells when it's done vs. trying to guess if the written description matches what's in your pan.

Dress comfortably and bring an apron. In addition to a cooking class, a fantastic feast and a group of new friends, you'll go home with a packet of recipes so you can create this feast again and again for your own family.

Event Category: Classes / Courses | Lifestyle, Arts, Leisure | Cooking.

Artists / Speakers: Danielle Oteri, Christian Galliani.

Price: Standard - USD 125.00

Brilliant event brought to you by my handsome husband.
This is the ideal event for wine and chocolate lovers, who are looking for a fun, authentic experience on the most contrived holiday of the year. Chef Stephen Shea, who has worked at restaurants including Mesa Grill,  Otto, Lutece and David Burke’s DBK, will prepare a light dinner followed by his signature dessert: A decadent three-layer hazelnut gianjuja brick with bourbon caramel sauce and a graffiti lacing. Christian Galliani will pa...

Feast on History shares stories that feed the senses. We partner with others who embrace our mission to share stories and ideas that inspire and transform our ways of thinking with walks, classes, tastings and dinner parties. Founded by Danielle Oteri, writer, speaker and art historian, Feast on History springs from the innovative custom cookbook service, Culinary Ancestry. "Feast on Innovation" talks encompass Danielle's ten-year career working and lecturing at many of the finest arts institutions in the country. They give audiences new sources of inspiration that will push the next frontier of creative innovation and technology. These talks are fun, provocative and make unexpected connections that provoke extraordinary innovation. Our Food and Wine Events are both public and private and allow you and your guests to experience food and history together, for a feast of the senses. In collaboration with Christian Galliani, founder of WIne for the 99, guests experience food and wine together in a unique way that will forever transform the way you think about history. Culinary Ancestry recovers and records your family story told through food. The final product is a gorgeous, professionally designed and printed cookbook that will become your most precious heirloom. Introduction

I lecture and write about art history, culture and food and am the founder of Feast on HIstory and Feast on Innovation Talks & Workshops. With a decade of experience speaking at museums and universities, my presentations integrate rigorous academic research with the common questions I receive daily from audiences. Feast on Innovation Talks & Workshops integrate art history, food, technology and the way we communicate today. Drawing upon the hundreds of talks I have developed and a career in graphic design, these provocative presentations and conversations draw people in and reveal connections across time and geography.
