This place has to be the worst place I have set foot in. The floor is black with dirt, looks like it has never been clean. Took over an hour for the food to come out, and the place was empty. I ordered something from the burger section, when I finally got it, it was a cold sandwich, I asked the waitress and she said its a deli sandwich. She asked if I wanted something else, i told her if it takes an hour for a sandwich to be made, how long would it take for something to be cooked. They sat us by there desk, so we heard them moan about customers, there facetime calls with friends, and nearly the odd elbow in the face, that's how close we was to them. The toilets was disgusting, everytime i went to lift my foot up, my shoe was sticking to the floor like glue. This isn't the first time ive had issues with TGI in New York, we had to walk out of one because the service was bad, had an argument with one, because she wouldn't take my money, told me to give it to the girl who served me.

Worst TGI Fridays! Hostess was horrible. There were probably 20 people that were seated before the five of us. To think that there are so many tourist walking in groups everyday but they only have tables for two. Thank god we decided to walk out and found Resette on 45th! Made up for our aweful experience.

Worse ever TGIF we had the misfortune to step into. We'd been travelling all day and was nearly back at the hotel on Madison Avenue when we thought we'd pop in for dinner. Biggest mistake ever. The place needed a reno like 5 years ago, everything looked tired and dingy. Should have really walked out instead of sitting down. Service was terrible. The waitress was taking our order from the cash register, passing out meals to us from said cash register and the food was not horrible too. Enter this restaurant at your own peril!

DO NOT GO HERE! I have been to several TGIF restaurants, but this has to be the worst TGI Fridays I have ever been to... To begin, the lady upfront told us it would be a 25-30 minute wait, we ended up waiting 45 minutes. When I went to check on what was taking so long she replied "oh you were on the other list, as soon as we have something available you will be called" I immediately got annoyed, but we were hungry and had waited that long so we decided to stay... Once we were called and seated we noticed that most of the seats were empty... so why the long wait? They put us by the bathroom which was annoying, the small glass on the wall were filthy & greasy, and there was food on the floor... it was very disgusting. After all that the waiter took FOREVER in greeting us and taking our order... Once we placed our order the food came quickly, however when it did come--it was COLD! and when I write COLD I mean ICE COLD! I order a sizzling chicken and cheese, and nothing on that plate was sizzling... The cheese was obviously NOT melted and the potatoes were just gross. It felt like someone had left that order before and they just popped it in the microwave for like 10 seconds, I mean it was bad! I let the waiter know so that he can send my food back to the kitchen and he decides to argue with me about the plate being hot... He finally takes my plate to the back (which is never a good idea) when I get my food back there is almost fire coming out of the cheese, that's how hot it was... of course they did this on purpose, the waiter says almost jokingly, "careful it's hot". By this point we just wanted to leave. I tipped the waited, and regret doing so... This experience was a waste of time and money... You have been warned if you really want to eat at a TGI Fridays I would recommend the one on 34th and 8th--they are not the best, but it's way better than dealing with these clowns.

We ended up here getting out of Rockefeller Centre, and some of our party did not want to go to a premium place. They pointed to TGIF, and we obliged almost expecting the results. The wine by the bottle was very well priced for a stock bottle of Folonari Pinot Grigio. The appetizers (spinach flat bread and a supposed nachos) were dreadful, absolutely dreadful. The rib eye steak was small but mid quality. The rest of the food was mediocre. The staff was lovely and tried to do their best. You wonder how such places survive in NYC. I guess it is name recognition for people who do not know any better.

Little run down however we knew what we were getting into. Hostess was horrible as we asked for a booth over a table and she had rolled her eyes 180 degrees and threw the menu's on the tables with no words spoken.Waitress was great however burgers starting at $20 is all about 5th Ave. If you have the time walk to Time Square and save some money and eat at a clean restaurant. Bubba Gumps was clean and affordable along with Hard Rock that was very updated.

The staff of this TGI is just horrible. My wife and myself brought our family coming from France to this place (middle of afternoon) to enjoy a drink after a long day of walk. Seconds after serving our drinks, the manager explained us that we need to leave if we don't order food. The way the staff was looking at us each seconds and the manager pushing for us paying the check made us feeling very uncomfortable. Don't stop at this place if you want to relax!

Whilst in NYC I took my friend to tgi's as he said he had never been.. I was expecting happy friendly staff with a bit of cheesy atmosphere and music.. What we got was barked at to go upstairs..we were mumbled at by the waiter.. told half the menu was off... he didn't know what beers they had on bottle..the food was edible.. Just- he never returned to ask if we wanted more drinks. when we said we wouldn't be having desert they turned the music off.. cleaned the floor around us and continued to talk to each across the top floor (it was 8pm). we then had to find him to pay the bill! I wouldn't bother going here if I were you there are plenty of better places to eat for the price.
