Really got close to this bad boy. There were so many eagles on the beach yesterday it was an absolute photographers dream.

For years we passed right on by Stariski Campground but this time we decided to stop and check out the views. The panoramic views were breathtaking; needless to say we stayed here for the night. Do yourself right, stop and see for yourself the amazing views of Cook Inlet from Stariski Campground.

This has to be read completely before the title makes any sense. Funny how this appeared in my mail the same day this was being spoken about as we were preparing to interview new candidates for employment.
Stephanie is a mother of two kids and recently had enough. She wrote and eye-opening public confession on her blog... after I saw it, I totally agree with her.

e of our favorite camping areas along the George Parks Highway. Montana Creek offers electric hookups for RV's but no water or sewer. Excellent fishing all through the summer and well into the fall for salmon, trout and grayling too.

Stariski Campground is located at milepost 152 along the Sterling Highway between Anchor Point and Homer Alaska. $12.00 per night is the best deal you will get on a million dollar view of Cook Inlet. Eagles fly bight by your campsite too.

What a great challenge with a win/win scenario.

Today at an event with President Obama, we announced the Little Box Challenge, a $1 million prize to develop the next generation of power inverters. This prize is one of Google’s many efforts to advance a clean energy future. We have a goal of powering our operations with 100% renewable energy, and to that end have contracted over a gigawatt of wind energy for our data centers. Beyond powering our own operations, we’ve also committed over $1 billion to 16 renewable energy projects around the world. Keep an eye on www.littleboxchallenge.com for more information in the coming months!

Denali Road Lottery application period opens May 1, 2014. Don't forget to get your application in before the deadline. We did this last year and the trip was amazing.

Will our homes and autos soon generate their own power?
"Because it is extremely thin, could potentially be used to coat structures or even windows without getting in the way".
Solar power could soon be used directly in the manufacture of new solar cells, making production of a key chemical require zero energy.

Campsites are level, hard packed gravel with manicured grass and lots of trees.

The best kept secret in Kenai. If you really want a feel for the local flair I suggest that you give Veronica's a try. There is often live music and home made soups and sandwiches that are guaranteed to keep you coming back for more.

Like the name says, this RV park is right along the banks of the Little Susitna river and offers excellent access to the river for salmon fishing and some great places for just watching. The park is very clean and well kept with a lot of forethought in the layout to offer semi secluded sites as well as a large group area in the middle. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to the coming summer when re return for some great Alaskan outdoor fun and fishing. Thanks for everything.

Great Choice Near Cheney; When looking for a fine dining establishment close to Cheney and Eastern Washington University, the Latah Bistro is one of the top to be considered. We have been there 3 times in the past week and every time we enjoyed it more. The wine selection is very good and the meals make you want to come back for more. I am giving it 4+ stars only because it is a bit expensive for students on a budget but still worth saving up for those special occasional special dinners. When you're in Cheney, take the time to drive over and enjoy a great time at the Latah Bistro.

Their picking it up in Kenai. We wee experiencing some lost mail last year but that issue was addressed and seems to have been corrected. Still wish they would move the rural box cluster back to it's original position closer to the main intersection.

Becoming our favorite place for lunches: The food, service and atmosphere all combine into a relaxing place to meet with friends. It's affordable but more importantly is it's a great value in dining near Cheney and EWU. We haven't been here for diner yet but we will be taking care of that very soon, possibly tonight.
