What used to be a cool little hotel and casino is now kind of dead except for weekends. Not really fun to play at anymore. One redeeming aspect is the Pink Taco restaurant. Good Mexican food at reasonable prices.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I won a trip and my work opted to book me at Hard Rock. When we got here it is a typical overcrowded, chaotic scene. We got here early and all the signs said "check out" so I asked if we were ok to check in and I was looked out like I asked for a miracle. Fast forward, we finally check into the Casino Tower and the ac barely works and the free wifi sucks. Our room was slightly updated but felt like a run of the mill motel room with a few aesthetic changes. Our "view" was a rooftop and ventilation ducts. And there was such a large unsealed portion of the door that we hear everything including the drunk girls running down the hall and the drunk guests who thought it acceptable to pound on the door at 10pm and run away. The bathroom was tiny and the door opens into the toilet. After reading the reviews, I'm assuming we should have booked in the Paradise or HRH Tower.

Booked 3 suites in HRH with 10 friends for bachelor party. Rooms we're very late at check in. Check in was rude and said check in was between 3-5. None of the rooms were ready at 4:50pm. She laughed and said I have until 5pm! We got into our rooms after 5 and the 3rd room closer to 6. The rooms in wall entertainment systems didn't work! This is common because I have been there 3 times. In addition old iPod hook ups that are outdated. Also mini bar areas had 50% of the items missing for purchase. Air conditioning you could turn to 50 degrees and wouldn't kick out air it took a full day to get the room to 69 degrees. It's to bad because I enjoyed this hotel for many years and probably won't return after this last experience. Biggest reason was how me and my friends were treated and I am a backstage pass member too.

Dead cockroach and used shampoo bottle in room. I've never stayed at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas before, but I've been to the Hard Rock in San Diego, which was quite nice, so I decided to book a few nights here on a business trip. At first I was pleasantly surprised with the room, which seemed quite big and spacious, but I soon discovered the lack of cleanliness and was appalled! When I got in the shower before bed, I discovered a dead cockroach and a used shampoo bottle behind the bathroom door. When I went to brush my teeth, the sink was covered in soap scum and looked like it hadn't been washed. Then when I pulled back my bedsheets, there were blood stains on the sheets (they were small spots, but still alarming). I tried calling the front desk and hotel concierge several times but no one would pick up, so I had to change out of my PJs, head back downstairs and wait in line for 15 mins to speak with someone in person. When I finally was able to speak with someone at the front desk, she seemed vaguely annoyed (but not surprised) when I described the state of the room. She offered me another room, which was not a satisfactory resolution to the situation, but since all the other hotels in the area are now fully booked (or astronomically expensive) due to an international conference, I don't have many other options. I haven't found any cockroaches in the new room so far, but the room is dark and the carpets are dirty. The vending machines on the floors are also out of water bottles, and the water bottles in the room are $9.50 each. I certainly will not be returning to this hotel, and I don't recommend staying here unless you are not bothered by a lack of cleanliness.

Room was immaculate, staff was friendly and helpful. Casino was carried and whole hotel ambiance was cool and pleasing. We dined at Culinary Drop Out and our waiter was helpful and attentive. Coffee and mini donuts at Fuel was fair. We would gladly return again

Great customer service, but like all Vegas hotels, it's quite smoky inside. They also spray vanilla scented air freshener everywhere, which makes the whole place smell like a strip club dressing room. I'm staying for a multi-day convention, so I've rented rooms for 3 nights. I'm in the Paradise Tower overlooking the pool -- this is definitely a party club, so you can definitely hear the music pumping all afternoon into the night. The beds aren't the most comfortable, and the pillows are like giant fluffy boulders. Nevertheless, it's clean and that's pretty much all I need. The room is also spacious enough for my needs. I liked the food at Mr. Lucky's. (The rehab omelette really hits the spot without feeling to heavy afterwards.)

After checking into my room I found that I could hear the neighbors in the next room as if we were in the same room. Unfortunately, they were arguing about 30 minutes into my stay. I called the front desk to see if I could change rooms or upgrade, but they told me "no". Being that I had just arrived, I thought that they would be willing to help, but they only offered to send security up to talk with the folks next door. My stay was during a week night and the hotel did not seem that busy. I am not sensitive to noise, but I could hear everything my neighbors were saying, even when they were talking in regular voices. My neighbors ended up being up all night and had people coming in and out of their room all night as well. Their music was really loud and the Hard Rock staff eventually sent up secuirty to ask them to quiet down. It did me no good because I could still hear everything they were saying. I never got to sleep. Being a father of 2.5 year old twins who don't sleep through the night, I thought my one night stay would give a chance to rest and get some sleep while I was in town for business. I was wrong. The walls are thin in this hotel. The staff was not accommodating. The air smells smoky. I will never stay here again. There are way better options in this town. Don't bother wasting your hard earned money here.

Always enjoy staying and visiting and gambling here. The music venues are uniquely vegas. I've had the pleasure of seeing some great shows here. Gambling action is good too. Nice new main lobby.
