I recently got the opportunity to stay at this hotel -Thanks to a dear friend who invited me to enjoy Memorial 2015 weekend in Vegas. This was not my first time visiting Vegas but this was the first time that I had the opportunity to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. I arrived a day after my friend so I did not get to experience the check in process. On the day I arrived I did see that there was a steady long line at the check in desk. The hotel itself was quite large and several casino areas along with a few restaurants. The hotel is located about two lengthy blocks from the strip which would take about 10 -15 minutes to walk depending on how fast you are. The hotel was divided up into several different towers - we stayed in the paradise towers on the 5th floor. The rocker theme was evident throughout the hotel as well as the rooms. I was able to see most of the hotel because our tower was the farthest tower to get to. To access the hotel elevator you need always need to carry your key card because without it the elevator will not get you to your floor. During my stay I arrived many times to the elevator and found people waiting for someone with a card to get them access upstairs SMH. The room itself was also decorated with a obvious hard rock theme but it was very cozy. The beds were so plush and comfortable that it was difficult at times to get up. I could sleep all day in that bed. The view from our room was horrible but it was always quiet. The lighting in the room was not the best I must say because none of the lighting was bright. Also the darkening drapes did very little to keep out the morning light so sleeping late was difficult. One helpful aspect was that the phone could be used as a charging station which came in very handy but there were plenty of outlets for use. The bathroom area design was very annoying to me because the toilet was enclosed with the shower. The shower itself was fine as far as pressure and temperature. I also loved the double sinks because it made things convenient for two people staying in a room. Another thing that I did not appreciate about the room design was all of the snacks on display as well as the fridge full of drinks. The fridge would've been useful if it wasn't for the sensors that would cause your room to be automatically billed when touched. The snack display was also the same way - it took up a lot of space and you had to really avoid bumping or touching it in order to avoid automatic charges which I thought was stupid. Feel free to charge me if an item is missing but not if its just moved or touched! I thought the housekeeping services were pretty descent until we asked for extra wash cloths one day for our room. The housekeeper made it obvious that we were interrupting her or causing her some delay. She gave us the wash cloths but she literally threw them at us and then ran - yes you read right - ran back into the room she had been working in! We laugh so hard that we couldn't be pissed - maybe she was running late completing her duties. There is a daily resort fee that covers the wifi service, complimentary shuttle as well as other services. I was the one left to check out and it was hassle free. Your also given an option of having your final bill emailed or printed out for you. I would definitely return in the future just for those comfy beds.

I will never stay here again. I've stayed in the one in San Diego....Vegas nothing like it. I had requested a casino tower smoking room but when I checked in i got "upgraded" to a dirty non smoking room near the elevator and ice machine! I checked in close to midnight so once I got to the room I passed out....in the morning I noticed that the bathroom floors are moldy and so was the tub and shower!!!! I had to put towels on the floor as I went to the front desk and asked for them to send someone up to scrub it as I was staying another 3 days....got back after my adventures to find that all they did was pick up the towels and replace them with folded new ones....I complained again and nothing! I got a survey and requested when I checked out that someone call me regarding this HEALTH HAZARD...no call no email...they don't care....but I bet the Las Vegas health department will.... save your money your better off staying and at the coast hotels I stayed there once when I turned 21 and they were cleaner than the hard rock! Disappointed I was looking for a permanent vacation hotel off the strip too...bummer for hard rock

Well, I hadnt been to the hard rock in a long time and I went to see a friend who was recently hired there. This place has come a long way since I last saw it. The HRH tower is gorgeous along with the pool, special valet and VIP check in. Its Nice enough to compete with some of the nicer strip properties while at the same time not completely over the top to seem snobbish like a lot of the elite properties. The staff was incredibly nice to me even when I wasnt with my friend. They also look like they have an incredibly fun season ahead of them - signing motley crew for a residency.. I am definitely going to that one! The Joint an awesome place to watch a show or any event for that matter... Overall I was thoroughly impressed with how far they have come... and it looks like they are going to continue the trend of putting money into the place.... cant wait to see the changes!

Room had weird smell house keeping did not come in tell 5:30pm when called down for more towels they came quicker then when our tv went out every day and had to call to have it fixed. Shower drained so slow you had to stand in dirty water. To have a regular fridge in your room it was $20 a day. We chose to only get clean towels daily since, housekeeping wouldn't come tell we just got back in our room even though they said 20 minutes i clean your room and the stuff they spray the rooms with didn't smell good. Prices in coffee shop was 14 for a cup of coffee went across street got one for under $3. Since we had our kids with we asked a good place to eat and found strip mall across street had great food

I enjoyed this hotel as much as I enjoyed having pneumonia last year. I got to the hotel around 2:30 pm, check in time is 3 pm. I did not get my room until 4:30 pm. I told them to go high in the sky, they tried to put me on the 6th floor. I said no where near an elevator, I was three doors down. If I asked, they did the opposite. I will never stay here again. I will never take a chance on hotels in Vegas again. I will be glad to be back with an old friend, Bellagio, here I come, For those that say this is a nice hotel with great service, they have very low standards.

Had to wait longer for our room then we were told. Tried to get my brothers bachelor party started so we hit the bar. Bartender cool drinks ok. Some of us got smoking rooms they should clean the smell a little better. The cafe food was awesome. All and all the suite was nice and staff pretty cool
