What a story. Talk about making a difference! The next time I'm back in Maine, I'm definitely picking up a sapling from him.

This was apparently a fantastic harvest year for Napa Valley. I want to visit California, please; I don't have nearly enough red wine in my collection.

This guy raises some good points. Steve Jobs was a refiner more than an innovator, true - but his willingness to push the envelope while improving upon what already existed was what made Apple successful under his leadership. It's easy to dismiss figures such as Jobs as arrogant, selfish egomaniacs, but we can learn a lot by studying their examples.
Many people have explained what one can learn from Steve Jobs. But few, if any, of these people have been inside the tent and experienced first hand what it was like to work with him. I don’t want any...

Introduction

I grew up in coastal Maine, spent my high school years at a phenomenal math & science boarding school, and studied economics at Cornell, with side focuses in computer science and business. I'm currently based in San Diego, where I work as an analyst for General Dynamics NASSCO. My passions include playing piano, skiing, reading, meeting people, and learning everything I can about anything I can. Current projects are my mini urban herb garden, learning VBA, and (soon) tutoring high school students in my spare time.

Bragging rights
Ran in the inaugural Tough Mudder, played piano since I was 7, helped lead Cornell's CMR robotics team to a 3rd-place national finish in its first competition year.
