The alligators were amazing and the 2 shows we saw were great. The lizards, turtles, and snakes were also great. But I saw one thing that broke my heart so I had to rate the place lower than I would have. The pen they have the Bobcats in is just too small. It couldn't be more than a 10 foot round diameter cage. It contained 2 Bobcats and they were walking in circles around the perimeter of the cage and pacing back and forth. They are showing all the signs of being psychotic. This can happen to animals in a small cage. I hope the Alligator Adventure create a larger (more natural) area for them. What they are doing to those two Bobcats is CRUEL !!!

Best place in the Myrtle Beach area. If you have kids or are a fan of alligators this is the place to go. The park is clean, the animals are awesome, the staff is very friendly. Its worth the price. I recommend buying your tickets online, they give you a discount on tickets. If you don't have a printer its ok, all the need is the conformation number and your I'D. Do write the conformation number down because they don't email it to you like you would think. The best part is the second day free thing they do. Gives you plenty of time to see everything. An absolute thing to do if visiting the MB area. Love this place, I will be back the next time we go on vacation here.

Horrible staff. We actually only saw three staff members while we were there and two of them went out of their way to be rude to people. To start off at the ticket widow, I walked up to the lady with cash in my hand and anxious children at my side. The price was two dollars per ticket higher than advertised on their website. Since I was paying for six tickets, I asked why the difference? She stated the website was wrong and they have been meaning to change that. My reply was that is bait and switch and they should give people the advertised price. She got on radio with the manager and then pointed out that the price is if you buy online only. It took me a couple minutes to buy the tickets online with my smart phone but it was worth it to save $10. She found my frustration with the whole thing very amusing but I don't hold a company 100% responsible for one bad employee. As we started into the park, we came upon the next staff member arguing with a poor woman trying to take in a group of adults with down syndrome. Apparently she could not find the receipt showing she had payed for everyone. Once she found her receipt, it was my family's turn to get harassed. According to him I was given the wrong type of receipt at the ticket window. After going back and forth a couple times we eventually got it sorted out and we were permitted to enter Alligator Adventure park.

Great place to spend several hours. Clean. Friendly staff. Over 800 gators & crocs. Very interesting. Close to plenty of restaurants & shopping. Will go back again.

The facility is mostly outdoors but great for the kids to have up close and personal experience with the gators. Great for all ages.
