I've received so much feedback on this one little poem from those worried that I am in a deep dark depression. Truth is, I wrote this poem a few years ago for a writing contest and it won! Yay! And apparently, it does convey the emotion I was going for because readers fear I am in a dark lonely state. Just FYI I'm not. I'm very happy in my life, but that doesn't mean I can't express other feelings in writing. That's what we writers do!
