Here are some reminders from us to you for this Lenten season:

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of abstinence from meat and also days of fast. Church law defines fasting as eating one regular-sized meal and two small meals. The laws of abstinence bind all Catholics 14 years of age and older. The law of fasting binds all Catholics from their 18th birthday until their 59th birthday. The other Fridays of the season of Lent are days of abstinence from meat.

If you have trouble finding easy, meatless meals for your and your family this season, check out St. Martin's Pinterest page where we will be posting new and delicious Lent-appropriate meals on our Recipe Exchange board!

St. Martin's Parish directory is now being prepared! If you have a picture of your family or yourself at a Parish event and would like it in the directory, please bring it to the office where you will also need to sign a release form. We are compiling candid photos for our activity pages. Thank you to all who have participated with the directory and we can't wait to share the finished product with you all!

Just to let everyone know, there will be a delay in getting this week's bulletin up on the website as our webmaster will not be in until Monday or Tuesday evening. Our activities for the week can be found under the Notes tab on our Facebook page.

If there should be any weather-related closings this week, St. Martin's will follow Buckeye School's decision to close. Stay tuned for more closings. God bless!
