My two Cents in Reply to This Video
A real problem with the Youtube comments: When you tap an “in reply to” link, it now opens up a new tab, reloading the entire page, and you have no idea where the conversation is or what you're supposed to be looking at now that you've got a new tab open with the exact same page as the previous tab, which is really nonintuitive and extremely annoying. I think they should fix that first, because that's something that's obviously broken, not just something that other people find annoying about the new changes. It's an actual broken thing.
On that note, I didn't hear all this whining about FACEBOOK comments in blog posts. A lot of websites out there make you have an account SOMEwhere on the internet in order to post a comment on their website when they use something like disqus or livefyre. However, many others simply implement facebook commenting into their website, so it's Facebook or nothing. A big example would be Hulu. Of alllll the websites on the internet!! I used to be able to post a comment on Hulu using my *gasp*
HULU account. Now, I have to have a facebook account linked to my hulu account in order to post a comment on a video. But, where's the big fuss about that? *cricket* *cricket*
Yeah, exactly. Check and mate.
Nobody gives a damn when Facebook integration practically takes over the whole god damned internet, but let G+ try to integrate ONE FUCKING THING and it's HANDS ACROSS THE FUCKING WORLD.http://youtu.be/I3cgvzkmOwo
