Before #OperationBlessing arrived in his community, Omar (11), and his sister, had to walk far in search of water. Even worse than that, the journey was often dangerous, and sometimes they were robbed of the precious water they had worked so hard to get. Today Omar is thankful because he, and his family, have abundant safe water right in their home, all thanks to the generosity of Operation Blessing's faithful supporters!

Jane is a courageous woman who made the decision to leave her abusive husband, knowing it meant she would be the sole caretaker for her seven children.

They were able to escape to her sister’s house, but she wanted to be able to support her family on her own. That was when she met Operation Blessing’s partner in Uganda, the ABIDE.family.

Jane and her family moved into Abide’s emergency housing. Jane shared her dream of owning her own business, and was immediately placed in classes to teach her how to start and manage one.

While she learned, her children took part in the Child Development Center, where they had access to healthy meals and medical care.

Today, the family lives in their own home while Jane runs a small business selling fish. Others in her community have heard Jane’s story and she has become a beacon of hope for them.

Prayer Point: Pray for individuals and families trapped under the weight of abuse. Pray that they will find a way to escape and the resources they need to live stable and healthy lives.

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.” – Psalm 127:3-5

Olive trees are some of the most beautiful in all of creation, and appear frequently in scripture. #OperationBlessing is supporting small business projects in #Israel and the #WestBank, with a special focus on products made from olive trees. These microenterprises will help support individuals and families in need!
