Resolve to better handle your stress this spring. If you can’t spare a block of time every day to meditate, squeeze in a few minutes each hour to experience the same benefits. Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Focus on pulling the air down into your belly. Breathe in for a count of five, hold the breath for a moment, and then slowly release. Continue for three to five minutes.

Seeing Dr. Alexander has been one of the worst experiences with an OBGYN that I have had. Her staff is completely unreliable and she herself was terse and somewhat rude to me, explaining very little and making me feel unwelcome. I have received multiple bills that have already been paid months after my visit even though at the time of the visit I was told everything was covered by insurance I have now been billed over $300 out of pocket. The billing agency they use is a scam, I called every day for a week to resolve these issues, never getting anyone on the phone and never getting called back. I am now receiving a bill in the mail for a sum that I paid over a month ago. I would caution anyone from going to see this doctor. I am never returning, it has been one of the most expensive, time consuming, and unpleasant experiences I have ever had with a health professional.

I am extremely pleased with the care and services that Dr. Alexander's office provides. Prior to being her patient I was disheartened with the medical profession because they could not provide me with answers to the many questions that I had about my body. I researched her and not only have I been a continuing patient but I recommended her to all my family and friends. She is thorough with her explainations and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, I trust her.

I have had nothing but a bad experience from start to end with Dr. Alexander and her staff. I found the staff to be very rude and incompetent. I was billed incorrectly two times by this office. When I called to ask about the billing (this is assuming you can even get through to talk to someone) I was told the billing question was retarded and that it should clearly state on my insurance card that annual exams are covered 100%. The office itself seems outdated. It was in a home and did not feel hygienic like other medical offices. You fill out all of your information on a tablet; the doctor then re-asks every single question. It was very repetitive. I had to wait about 30 minutes before the doctor arrived in the exam room. She provided me with false information that a medication I take for migraines could lead to a stroke. She referred me to a neurologist to look into this further. When I called the office, the referred neurologist no longer worked there. I spoke with my primary who contacted two other neurologists, all asking why Dr. Alexander was claiming a migraine medicine could lead to stroke, when that clearly was not the case. I was glad to hear this was so, because I was unable to see the doctor she referred me to anyways. Although my insurance covers an annual exam 100%, I am now being billed by Dr. Alexander for $180.00++. When I called the office to ask about this bill, I could not get ahold of the doctor. I followed up a week later and still could not get ahold of the doctor. Finally, a receptionist returned by call and informed me that because Dr. Alexander wrote me a prescription for birth control, she coded this as a general office visit as well as an annual exam. I was told by my insurance that this is at the doctor's discretion to do this. I have never had any other OBGYN charge me for writing a piece of paper... As you can not get a prescription without an appointment, this is typically included in the annual exam at other offices. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office ever, and highly recommend that you avoid her as well. It will save you time, money, and a very large headache.

Today's visit wasn't too long of a wait. The doctor was more social than how she has been in the past. I enjoyed that, it was a big change more relaxed. She's always professional.
