#CervicalCancer occurs when abnormal cells develop and spread in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus. More than 12,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the U.S. A unique fact about cervical cancer is that most cases are triggered by a type of virus. When found early, cervical cancer is highly curable.

New treatment could prevent #hairloss during #chemotherapy for #breastcancer patients.
If you or someone you know has ever undergone chemo, you understand how physically and emotionally brutal the process can be. One of the most common and devastating side effects is hair loss, but that's about to change for women receiving chemo for breast cancer.

Dr. Alexander is very proactive and attentive to any concerns I have. The office staff is also easy to work with and discuss billing with. In the few years I've been a patient here there was only one concern over insurance being denied for pre-approval for a surgery that delayed the procedure. This was resolved and has not negatively affected our relationship in anyway. She is definitely a standout doctor in her field, and I have recommended her to friends.

I find it odd that so many of these positive reviewers also coincidentally reviewed scotti muffler in de and super credit in Chesapeake md.

Dr. Alexander is very nice. This was my third time visit her. The waiting time seems a little bit long, I wait for at least 30 mins every time before she start see me.

Seeing Dr. Alexander has been one of the worst experiences with an OBGYN that I have had. Her staff is completely unreliable and she herself was terse and somewhat rude to me, explaining very little and making me feel unwelcome. I have received multiple bills that have already been paid months after my visit even though at the time of the visit I was told everything was covered by insurance I have now been billed over $300 out of pocket. The billing agency they use is a scam, I called every day for a week to resolve these issues, never getting anyone on the phone and never getting called back. I am now receiving a bill in the mail for a sum that I paid over a month ago. I would caution anyone from going to see this doctor. I am never returning, it has been one of the most expensive, time consuming, and unpleasant experiences I have ever had with a health professional.
