Best breakfast in central Connecticut hands down. Get there early or be ready to wait a bit for a table. Wouldn't work for big groups unless you split into different tables.

Always a good time. My favorite way to start my mornings if I get to make it downtown. Delish. Everyone is always friendly. Iv had the chef cook me something special here as well, you should never turn down his recommendations!

Inviting chef will cook you what they have on hand so you know you will always get something different! Normal menu is solid but for the price most of the items on it appear nothing special. 5stars for service.

A nice little old town diner with the absolute best and tasty menu. For those with a big appetite I recommend the belly buster omelet, when I finished it , I was so full, but I didn't want to stop because I wasn't done tasting yet. Totally awesome

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I love it because while its unique, it's cozy. The food is always fabulous and the french press coffee is great! Maybe they coukd bring back the french toast to the third degree??? Either way Brian has a great place here!

The food is creative and delicious, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. One of our party is on a low sodium diet, and she was pleased with how all of the dishes seemed to be very lightly salted, if at all. Too often, diner food is salted to the extreme. Not O'Rourke's! The food is flavorful without needing salt.

With positively delightful specials, and a comprehensive menu offering a wide variety of carefully thought out dishes, I've never been disappointed by O'Rourke's. There's always a wait, but it's well worth it, and if you haven't gotten a chance to try it, you're doing yourself a disservice of not making it a priority to treat yourself one of these weekends. Staff is always friendly, despite how busy they can get with a full house, and as small as the place is, it's got a ton of charm.

We drive over an hour to eat here on the weekends. The breakfast is always amazing and Brian knows what he is doing if you are willing to order Brians Breakfast (Chefs choice). The place is small, and busy, so expect to wait patiently outside for a table to become available. Worth every minute of the wait.
