The problem with modern-day politics, aside from everything, is that it lacks consistent excitement.

Oh, Spock, it was always you. It was you we needed. Captain Kirk and Mr. Sulu and Lt. Uhuru, they were great, but you were the glue that held that iconic TV show and all the movies that followed together.

Secondhand bong smoke from neighboring Colorado seems to be causing the governor of Kansas to behave erratically.

If there's one thing I enjoy about the wildly popular television series "The Walking Dead," it's that it promises an apocalyptic version of America, replete with brain-starved zombies and gangs of renegade humans, and then it really delivers.

I haven’t been feeling my usual manly self lately. I keep messing things up in a clumsily absurd fashion and feel an overwhelming desire to spend time with a large and inordinately expressive reindeer.

As a gotcha-loving member of the lamestream media, I took time away from my locally sourced quinoa and kale salad on Monday to ask Scott Walker , the governor of Wisconsin and likely GOP presidential contender, a few questions.

Most of us consider ourselves excellent multitaskers. And then we occasionally find ourselves Xeroxing a sandwich while eating the report we meant to copy.

Hillarious! Loved the humor, Rex :D

God bless Ms. Lee. "To kill a mockingbird" is one of my favourite books, and although Ms. Lee's new book faces an uphill task of getting folks in the 21st century - who seem to prefer reading cheap fiction (a best-seller in my country is called "Half Girlfriend"), get rich quick books, and believe 140 characters is healthy communication between two people - to read her intelligent and thought provoking prose, I'm certainly going to be lining up to read it...even if it doesn't live up to the high standards of her first classic.

Because of a family health issue, we needed to move a vehicle from southern Arizona to Chicago - and we needed to do it quickly. I contacted AmeriFreight and within a half-hour had a very reasonable rate quote with options for a pickup within a matter of days. Having never done this, I had many questions, and my agent was wonderfully responsive. The car had to be picked up from an assisted-living facility. We received notice of the pick up the day before, the morning of and a half-hour before the driver arrived. The driver was very kind and thorough, making it easy for our relative to deal with everything. We were expecting a delivery in about 7 days, which was perfectly fine. Then after three days we got a call saying the car had already arrived. The driver delivered the car - in perfect condition - to our home and again was as courteous and polite as can be. The company then followed up to make sure everything had gone well. I could not more highly recommend AmeriFreight. Great service, and great people. They made a difficult time much easier for us.
