Counter-serve chain where guests create their own salads or wraps from a large array of ingredients.- Google
"The sandwiches are basically a salad wrap and not as filling as a full salad."
"I wish they gave me a bit more flat bread though."

As you enter this location, you may get a bit confused on how to approach making an order. Just walk on up and decide whether salad or sandwich. I had been waiting over a year or more to try this spot out. It's much similar to Subways or Chipotle in which your food is prepared right in front of you. Are much as everything is natural and organic, I didn't to like the overall smell of the place. It was a bit weird to me. I did love the food I ordered. It was amazing. I must say for a simple meal as I wanted, the cost was quite pricey. I dropped pretty much $12 on a salad. After I got over the price, I enjoyed my food and loved the experience of how they created the food and chopped up my lettuce and food items to blend it in for the rich experience of healthy eating. I would definitely go back and probably try another location to see if it was just me or is the smell just that way at all places. Live Life Unscripted...

I always enjoy my salads from chop't. Great sizes, dressings are awesome, and I'm generally satisfied. This last week, I had experienced a few issues with my salads, and issued feedback on the chop't website about my experience. It was less to complain, and more to make them aware of what a customer was experiencing. I was more than surprised when the manager, James, called me personally to apologize and offered to rectify the situation by paying for my next order. A lot of places provide good customer service, but few do as good of a job as I experienced with Chop't in terms of taking care of customers who experienced an off-day to make sure they come back. I was planning on going back to Chop't and continuing to order from them anyway, but I will definitely share my good experiences with them rather than the small flukes from here forward. Definitely going back. Probably today.

Wide selection of fresh, natural ingredients. High quality greens (never brown or old) combined with your choice of vegetables, cheeses, protein etc make for a fantastic take out lunch. Can have long lines but they move quickly. On the pricey side but large serving and high quality make it worthwhile.

My fave salad place in the city since the early 2000s. Love the original Union Square location and now my go to near the office is Spring St. Both have awesome evening hours and online ordering so I can get my Chop't fix when and where I want! And, after all these years I'm still obsessed with the Cobb Salad Sandwich! On a side note, wish they would bring back Fat Witch brownies - so delicious! And,we need more Chop't locations uptown - like South Bronx or Upper East Side above the East 90s.

Eh. Out of all the salad places in NY, I wouldn't necessarily pick this one. The food was okay, but really just overpriced plain salad. The wait was unreasonably long and it just wasn't that impressive. I prefer Sweet Green over this anytime.

The food is fantastic, and how could it not be? You get to pick your own fantasy salad. But even better is the service. The lids they put on the salad bowls are a bit slick, and as soon as the guy handed me mine and I turned toward the cash register, it slipped and spilled all over the floor. The manager immediately took care of it, got me back in line to get a new salad (which happened super quickly), and assured me that it happens all the time and not to worry. They were so kind and courteous, and I was really impressed.

The lunch line between 12:30 and 2pm extends outside of the store and can be a bit ridiculous. Plan to come closer to noon or after 2pm for the quickest service. Their seasonal salad options are delish and they always offer creative options.
