THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!! DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!!! I had a system "PROFESSIONALLY" installed for $600 was BILLED/CHARGED $500 for a box that I DIDN'T even WANT or ask for, further more I DON'T EVEN OWN IT! The technicians broke several parts in the truck and interior of my vehicle. The bass amplifier had been installed/connected IMPROPERLY and evidently had a short, therefore, DESTOYING the amp. TEXAS CAR STEREO had toreplace the amp under warranty and re-iterated there was NO problems with the wiring. WELL... the amp WAS DESTROYED AGAIN and IN FEAR of TEXAS CAR STEREO damaging my car more, I called Rockford Fosgate myself and delt directly with them. I also told RF that Texas Car Stereo shout NOT BE A DEALER due to their inadiquate staff/technicians. The tinit job SUCKED and the Customer Service was even worse!!! But MOST of all SAM and BILL both DENY everything and act like it's the customer's fault.I should have NEVER gone to this GOD FORSAKEN PLACE!!! YESTERDAY MY CAR HAD TO BE TOWED BECAUSE OF THE SYSTEM TEXAS CAR STEREO INSTALLED!!! THE SHORT IN THE SYSYTEM FINALLY SCREWED UP MY BRAND NEW CAR WHICH HAS NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS

I bought a new used car with a fancy voice activated nav system and rear sensors but no camera. Texas Car Stereo ordered the correct module and installed it all for us and now I have a rear view camera viewable in my nav system, plus they unlocked the nav system so a passenger can program GPS while car is driving. Default was to lock it out at 3 mph, so we would have had to leave the highway altogether to program but no longer!

Don't go there!! Salesmen and employee are really nice but they don't know what they are doing even though they act like they do. I had 2 bad experience there, price is good but they suck on installations. I bet you all the few good comments below are posted by the same people working there. I WILL NEVER COME BACK even though is like 2 mins away from my house.

I don't even know where to start...I must be honest and say they installed my radio pretty okay, even tho they cut my dash without my consent. ANYWHO, while installing my tent they broke my driver window, were not going to tell me, I just coincidentally showed up while the glass was shattered. To this day, my window doesn't go up and down properly, and ultimately I'll end up having to pay a window shop for their neglegence. I still ended up paying for my tent to be done (which most places wouldn't have made u pay) . They initially promised me a 2 hour wait, it ended up being 6 hrs. GUYS PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! you can go to the Mercado flea market on hwy 6 and get phenomenal service for half the price. On another note, Texas car stereo will jack those prices on u like you've never seen. They acted as if I don't know how much stereos, amplifiers and tent usually costs. This place is horrible, please do not waste your money

Is there a way to give less than 1 star? This outfit is a complete joke. I took my wife's truck to the location in the 7700 block of Westheimer to get her overhead DVD and subwoofer replaced - one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The DVD player wasn't properly installed, the speaker blew out, and the interior lights stopped working. After 2 trips to that location, and 2 more to the 12971 Westheimer location, they have done even more damage. In addition to the interior lights, vanity lights, sun/moonroof, and driver's side speakers STILL not working, the alarm stopped working, too. To top it off, before I could take it back one last time, the whole d@mn DVD player just fell from the mounting plate. Thank God my kid wasn't in her car seat at the time or it would have fallen down on top of her. Bill, the store Mgr, refused to extend a refund because it was "past 7 days from purchase", so I left all his second-rate crap on the counter and filed a dispute with my credit card company. They shouldn't be allowed to install a car air freshener - let alone work on sensitive electronics.

I was amazed by their prices! I had problems with my radio, so i was looking for a good place to fix it. Friend of mine advised me to try Texas Car Stereo. Last week i went there to fix my radio. I paid $126.79 for a pioneer audio system. This price included! I also changed my brakes. Cant complain, mechanic did a great job. He explained what problems my car has and how is better to fix it. So i am going back there this week to change one of the sensors. This store has everything i needed in one location. I saved lots of time and money. If you are looking for a good deal and if you are a busy person, i definitely can advice you to visit this place.

Texas Car Stereo hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
