She's back!  As the days get darker in #Trondheim it is (under the right conditions) possible to experience Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. This photo was captured last night from the Lade area in Trondheim. Read this article to find hints and tips to when, where and how to see it; http://www.visitnorway.com/en/where-to-go/central/trondheim/what-to-do-in-trondheim/experience-the-northern-lights-in-trondheim/

Nidarosdomen / Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim is the national sanctuary of Norway, built over the grave of St. Olav. Work began in 1070, but the oldest parts still in existence date from the middle of the 12th century.
Nidarosdomen Cathedral, Munkholmen and Stiftsgården are the most important of the many historical attractions in Trondheim. Rockheim is the recent.

A journey in which I travel north, on the world’s most beautiful voyage, searching for the specter of my grandfather and a glimpse of the ever-elusive midnight sun.

Introduction
Visit Trondheim, the pilgrim destination and Nidaros Cathedral (Nidarosdomen). Drink a cup of coffee at one of the city's many cafés and read newspapers for hours. Go for some shopping and maybe an impulse visit to a gallery or museum. Stop by for salmon fishing in the river Nidelven right in the city centre. Stroll along idyllic river promenades. See one of the country’s best football teams, Rosenborg, at their home field. Experience the Trøndelag Theatre and treat yourself to a five-course meal at a restaurant you will remember for the rest of your life.
