First #1GAM truly playable build for my roguelike runner with random levels, increasing enemy difficulty.  http://bit.ly/13DqJD1 

Not a ton of gameplay yet, but find the exit, avoid the enemies. (Thus, I'm calling it a roguelike runner for now.) After having gone through two AI packages and having to just write my own it's at least a start.

How many levels can you get through before the enemies wear you down?

I asked this on my blog but wanted to throw it out here too.  What's your favorite roguelike (or other) game mechanic?

I'm certainly not at a loss for ideas, but I'd like to touch base with more roguelike players to ensure I'm not too far off base. ;) I've played a good deal of them, but never really talked about them to anyone so I'm curious.

I'd like some feedback on the doors/alpha of blocks above doors and any suggestions on how to handle them better.
Controls: wasd, e to interact. (space to jump for no reason yet)

Haven't been able to code for my #1GAM game lately, but I did come up with a name! "andys puppEt show theatre show"  

Thanks to @beardsounds form  www.beardsounds.com for providing some sound FX which helped push the direction.
