This visit was my first time getting a repair service at Christian Brothers automotive, I was very impressed because they made appointments and the appointments were on time and the service was done efficiently and in a timely manner, the people were very nice and friendly the waiting area was so clean and it looked so nice like a hotel lobby. I had to check the restroom because that's where most places fail but the restroom at Christian Brothers automotive was almost like someone's home restaurant decorated nicely and tasteful and oh so clean, you would come to expect everyone to be walking around in choir robes being named Christian Brothers but the uniforms with me and in place, I will be back when service is needed. Thanks Christian Brothers for a great job well done!!

I was here the other day for a front end alignment evaluation. I was offered a courtesy 26 point inspection. I stated that was fine and since you will be looking it over would you mind looking at this oil leak that I believe is from the rear main seal? I was told sure they will look over everything. I was told that the front end needs new upper and lower ball joints both sides and a center link. I don't really doubt this, it's an old truck. I asked what about that inspection and looking at the oil leak? I was told "Oh they didn't find anything" I stated "That is weird, it's dripping fairly frequent". We were reviewing the receipt from the evaluation today and noticed that it states "Customer declined courtesy inspection". So I was offered something they didn't perform, lied about doing it and after accepting it and specifically pointing out a concern they put down I declined!!! I have used this place one other time and was fairly satisfied.

THESE CON-ARTISTS WANTED $2200.00 FOR A FIX THAT COST $170 AT ANOTHER LOCAL SHOP. If I could rate them 0 stars I would have. Recently within the last week I took my car to this place. I had a check engine light on and was charged $300+ for an o2 sensor replacement. Also, My AC was out and asked them to look at this as well. Steven (The Manager) had his guys look this over and said I needed part after part for a total of $2200.00 to fix this. I declined and took to another local shop in town. Turns out it was a connector clutch that needed to be replaced because some wires weren't connected. All in all it cost $170.00 to get my AC back up and running at a nice and cold 37degrees. THIS SHOP HAS DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. THE 26 POINT INSPECTION IS A JOKE AND A WAY FOR THEM TO SCARE CUSTOMERS INTO SPENDING MONEY. THEY SAID I NEEDED NEW SPARK PLUGS (REPLACED 1 MONTH PRIOR), NEEDED BREAK PADS AND ROTERS (OTHER SHOP CHECKED AND STILL IN GOOD SHAPE). DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS, THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BANK.... I AM GOING TO REPORT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!!

Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Mr. Gomez I apologize about your experience with us. Upon arrival we made it very clear that there would be two diagnostic fees associated with the problems with your car. You agreed to both of them. Your oxygen sensor was bad and your a/c problem was diagnosed. The clutch connector is part of the a/c compressor and the only way we can repair that here is to replace the whole compressor. Due to our 2 year 24,000 mile warranty we cannot rig up a connector because that is a short term repair. Also the reason we recommended replacing your brakes was due to your complaint of it shaking when you applied the brakes. We discussed changing your spark plugs strictly based on your vehicles mileage. GM recommends spark plugs at 100,000 miles and your vehicle is just past that. When you picked up your car you didn't want to pay for any of the diagnostics that where performed. We credited those to you in hopes of salvaging a relationship with you. We perform free courtesy inspections only if they are accepted by the customer. They are not to scare anyone, they are to inform customers of any issues that the vehicle may have.

My wife got new tires on her car and needed an alignment. I decided to try Christian Brothers. I was very impressed in my dealings with James at the front counter, and he gave me a discount off my alignment for purchasing tires at Discount Tire. A few months later, I decided to have Christian Brothers replace my leaking valve-cover gaskets on my truck, replace my tie-rod ends, and align my new tires. Again, I was impressed with James' and the mechanic's attentiveness. Fast forward a couple of months...my truck would not start as I tried to leave my office. Plenty of juice to turn the starter over, but the engine would not fire up. I was too far away to tow the truck to Christian Brothers, so I towed it down the street to a local mechanic. A week later he called me and told me he suspected the computer was bad, but was not positive due to the various symptoms he kept encountering. He did not want to guess at the problem, (and he did not charge me any money since he did not fix anything!),so he told me to take the truck to the Toyota dealership and let them identify the exact problem. I towed my truck to a Toyota dealership and they had my truck diagnosed the next day. The very first thing the Toyota Service manager asked me was, "Has your intake manifold been removed recently?" I told him it had been removed two months before to have the valve-cover gaskets replaced. He told me that the ground wires to the computer had not been bolted back onto the intake manifold like they were supposed to. They had gotten squashed under the intake manifold, were grounding out for the couple of months the truck was running, but then worked loose of the grounded position and would intermittently ground out. Toyota fixed the problem (which cost more than the original charge from Christian Brothers to replace the valve cover gaskets) and I went back to Christian Brothers, with the Toyota repair ticket in hand. I did not have much faith that Christian Brothers would admit to making a mistake like that, much less reimburse me the amount Toyota charged me to fix the problem. When I explained the situation to James, he was very polite and immediately brought a manager, Steven, up to speak with me. Steven asked me what I thought was fair to remedy the situation. I told him the reimbursement of the Toyota repair cost would be fair. He told me he did not have the authorization to make that decision, but he would explain the situation to the owner and let him decide what to do. I received a call from Steven a couple of hours later telling me that he had a check ready for me to pick up for the full amount of the Toyota repair bill. WOW!!! When I picked up the check, they were apologetic for the mistake and for the distress it caused me. They admitted that mistakes happen occasionally, but they strive to do all they can to correct the mistakes and make things right with the customer. They took the high road on this situation, as they could have very easily avoided taking responsibility for my problem. I am VERY impressed with Christian Brothers Automotive in Burleson, Texas, and highly recommend them to service your vehicle needs. Michael McCorkle.

I recently had occurrence to interact with Christian Brothers Automotive over my Ford F150. They did a great job of repairing my truck. They did it all in one day, I had it taken to them overnight. They got it in early the next morning and out that afternoon. They went out of their way to contact me and keep me in the loop. No surprises and the cost was dead-on to the estimate. My truck is running better than ever, and I would highly recommend them. Great job, guys!

Christian Bros is a terrific place for my car service needs. They are friendly and helpful, and never try to up-sell for work or parts I do not need. They provide and honest and fair assessment of what work needs to be done now and what could be needed in he future. Best way to describe them is honest trustworthy and dependable.

Took my van into them to get a front end alignment. They said we needed a whole new front end. They priced everything they said was wrong and it came out to more than $3000.00. After 4 days our van broke down and we looked under the hood and noticed some bolts loose that were never loose and a vacuum hose that was almost off. They are a joke. I have a friend that told me that they will mess with ur vehicle just to get service. Don't ever take ur vehicle to them.........😠

I've been servicing my vehicle here for 5+ years and there's a reason for it: they are great to work with. Recently I moved to Dallas but I still make the 45 mile trip to come back to this location because they've always been a pleasure to work with and have been honest in their assessments. I never have to worry about being taken advantage of and their prices are fair and competitive. The waiting room is comfortable to be in, christian music is always playing, and they offer free sodas. They've got my loyalty! Give 'em a try.

I paid $85 for diagnostic it only took five minutes they told me That my motor mounts are causing the shaking of my vehicle I got a second opinion and and it turns out that my transmission is bad before I left and I asked them if all my fluids were good my transmission fluid was basically empty and my windshield wiper fluid was also empty because there is a hole in the hose of my washer fluid box I don't believe they care for the customers at all they only care about making a quick buck
