Interlined curtains with a Pin-hook heading made in Capuchin fabric from Sanderson. This is a simple heading which hangs in straight folds, an alternative to eyelets.

More swags and tails, this time for one of my own clients so at least I get to see the finished window.

Stripes look good in curtains too!.

A pair of curtains for a very wide window, eight widths in total.

Good day - when the bobbin thread runs out just as you reach the end of a long seam and would have cut it anyway.

Not so good day - when you spend several minutes sewing the next long seam after pressing the first and forget that the bobbin thread has run out !

I've had a busy couple of weeks. Finished off the curtains to go with the first set of swags and tails, then completed the next job of three pairs of curtains with fifteen swags, three pairs of tails and three pairs of tie-backs. Luckily the third set of swags has now been given to someone else - I think the shop felt sorry for me.

Swags and tails jobs are a bit like buses, you don't do any for over a year and then three come along at once.

Just started some for a bay window in a lovely William Morris fabric. Once these are finished the next job has fifteen swags over three windows and after that some for a shop display. I think I may be dreaming about swags soon.
