Bro Stokes, understand: family, work, time.
All of this sounds great. Thank you for sharing.
Could you please keep me posted on the panel discussion - if it will be open to others? I could perhaps share this information with young men I know who share your faith and religion.
As a community of African-based artists and healers, my groups do hands-on work with individuals and communities who have experienced trauma of multiple types with a particular focus on honoring the ancestors at sites of memory. We also do community rituals to heal unresolved emotions and traumas related to slavery and the Middle Passage.
My most current work is directed towards women, especially Black mothers: Helping them find safe ways to give birth and ensuring they have support for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postnatal experiences. So, I work as a birth and postpartum doula.
I look forward to hearing what else is going on.
Much peace, blessings, grace as you work to be change and make change.
