Great experience for myself and my girlfriend. We thoroughly enjoyed the self guided tour of the castle and the history of the folk park. We will come back again in summer when it's a bit warmer. All in all a great place to visit if your in the area with a few hours to spare.

Beautiful castle, looks as it did in the 1500s. Restored completely, so it isn't a ruin, but a complete castle. Village near by has nice shops and a pub.

My wife and I loved it. Yes, it was a touch touristy, but we were tourists! The castle was rich with history, excellent hosts and hostesses, and dining in the food and style of its history was a robust experience. The folk park was fun as well. Highly recommend.

Disappointed to come home after an excellent 4 night stay at the Bunratty Castle Hotel. Excellent food, friendly staff, nice clean quiet spacious rooms & set in a lovely setting ideal for exploring Ireland. Highly recommended.
