Here's a suggestion, add printing or fix Picasa!
So, my wife has taken thousands of pictures with her phone and they are all auto-backed up to G+, now she wants to print them on her printer.
She's not technical, so the process needs to be simple, and it SHOULD be, but alas...
I would expect to go to G+ Photos and have her click a link to print, like on Google Docs. No dice. So the first procedure was:
1) Google+ Photos
2) Auto-backup folder of albums (dumb.)
3) Download photo (NOT Album, zip files add extra steps)
4) Find downloads folder for Firefox.
5) Open in Microsoft photo viewer (Print disabled if opened from a ZIP file)
That's about 3 too many steps.
I downloaded Picasa to see if I could have her browse and print photos from there. Looks cool, seems to work for some photos, one small problem...
It can't see the auto-backups album beyond the most recently created album.
This is INCREDIBLY annoying. Either make the browser experience fully functional or fix the Picasa app. Fixing the Picasa app is my preference as it will also make a local backup of cloud photos.
I find it hilarious the Picasa forums recommend Dropbox or Box to sync photos to Picasa for better management.
