I can't even count the number of times I've been here. Have even done my birthday here. Pretty good go to spot. I've never eaten here but the first floor's decor and ambiance is very nice and cozy. Theres even a fireplace! They have a couple of bar areas on the first floor, one where people can dance. There is an open park like area with benches that gives it a warm outdoorsy feel even in the dead of winter. The real attraction is the upstairs area which effectively becomes a club/lounge. They open it up at midnight and I've had some great times up there. Try to get here before 11 if you don't want to wait on a line on a busy night. They even open up an outdoor area up there when weather permits. The negative is that they sometimes don't have a live DJ up there which kind of takes away from the spontaneity of the music. Overall, definitely hit this place up if you haven't already.

Management here has a policy that kicking young women out of their bar without their IDs or phones is socially responsible. I was in line to enter this place and noticed a tourist who had been kicked out sitting in an alley next door. Bouncers outside the place used the "she got drunk and deserves it" line when I inquired whether they planned to allow the young woman to retrieve her ID, money, and phone from inside to get back to her hotel safe and got no reaction besides "she is grown and got drunk and she knows better". Until their security staff get sensitivity training, this place should be crossed off any sensible woman's list of "safe places in Manhattan to enjoy a night out". If you get in trouble expect the men running this place to decide that whatever happens to you, "you deserved it."

One of my favorite spots to eat in the Meatpacking District. It's a very good price, in comparison to the rest of the restaurant. I am mainly saying this since the ambiance is amazing. It's beatuiful and green and inside. As far as the food, it's sandwiches, burgers. There's a huge brunch menu with tons of options. Great place to go in the daytime when the sun light is near the green trees.

My review is only based on the drinks and the atmosphere. I came here with a group of friends for drinks after a long walk around the city. The garden area of the restaurant is where we sat and it was beautiful. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant/ garden both had great decoration, and design. The drinks were perfect for what we wanted. We order a few cocktails and the sangria. The sangria was a good deal it was a decent price compared to the other drinks and was a lot to drink and had fruit to eat. The other drink I had was a gin and tonic and it was very fresh and the gin was just right in the drink.

This is a very unique dining experience; the restaurant actually feels like you're both outdoors as well as an indoor living space. Their menu lists a nice variety of unique dishes and so far, what I've tried, have been tasty and well prepared. Oh, and uh, there are little finches flying above!

I asked for a romantic table for my girlfriend's birthday and they certainly delivered. the atmosphere/setting is beautiful. you can't find many places like this in NYC. the prices are very good and the meals are good portion size. the food does not blow your mind though. Good cocktails at the bar too, just love the whole layout. Only bad thing was that the kitchen brought our second course out way, way, too early. They tried to rush us through the starter and then when we asked to wait they eventually brought us a reheated meal. I hope that is not a regular occurance.

I like the Park a lot. It is a huge place with fabulous decor. I have been here three times and have enjoyed my self. The crowd is pretty mixed. The ambiance is nice and has a different feel in each room. I like the garden area, it's beautiful. The food her is not memorable. But, I typically come here to dance the night away with a few drinks. The drinks are made well and tasty. I especially like the sangria. The music can be good or bad, depending on the dj. But, if you ask nicely, the dj will take requests, which is awesome! It's a bit of a walk from the 1 train, but I think it's worth it!

The Venue: 5 Stars Many rooms, many dance floors, many seating areas, many dining areas...many places to hangout! My favorite space is The Garden. While it does feel and look like outdoor seating, the space is covered by a greenhouse roof, allowing plenty of natural light in during the day, while protecting you from the elements and any extreme temperatures. The back wall is covered with vines and greenery, and trees are scattered throughout, truly bringing the outdoors in. At night, the trees are lit with string lights. Ambient and romantic! The Service: 2 Stars After coming here on a few late nights and enjoying the venue, along with the ability to move around freely (oddly empty even on weekends), I organized a department lunch here. We were seated in the Garden area and everyone's first impressions of the space were great! For a group of eighteen, we were seated at two long tables, side-by-side. Our server seemed overwhelmed, even though we were forced to order from their large groups menu, which has limited options. The Worst Part: We ordered one of each appetizer on the menu for each table. They bring out all the appetizers for one table (just happens to be the table where most of the supervisors are seated), while the other table sat empty, staring at the table with food. Picture it. Marinate on it. The Food: 1 Star Did I say that appetizer incident was the worst part? Well, that was the worst part about the service we received that day. The food is actually the worst part! They had a few decent appetizers (just a few), but just about everyone hated their meals. Close-to-full plates were leftover and no one asked to take anything home. My colleagues were all so polite about it, but when I asked them to be candid with me, the feedback was not great. I would come back again if dancing and hanging out were on my agenda, but I would never eat here again.
