A Biographical Biography: by Seth Hall
I am a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Raleigh. I graduated from NCSU, then proceeded to wonder the States trying to "find myself", only to realize I was often looking in the wrong place. After a stint in the Big Apple and upon returning to Raleigh, my life changed for the better, somewhat drastically, somewhat not, when I accepted Jesus into my heart and started receiving His grace and healing. Boy did I need it. As the scripture says "Thou shalt receiveth grace and healing from the Lord, because Thou is jacked up" Ha!
Throughout this journey a creative fire has burned within, one that will not relent, one that continually gives me no choice but to follow my heart and walk the path before me. Upon doing so, I have been fortunate enough to find a place in the world of digital media (film, video, web, design, music) and it has been a wonderful ride with, to quote The Dude, "strikes and gutters, ups and downs"...totally worth every minute.
I am now settled in Greensboro, NC. I am happily married to the lovely Elizabeth Hall and we have a beautiful baby girl named Naomi. She was named after my friend and grandmother Naomi Whitesell Schmidt. I have a great group of friends from all parts of my life and I am thankful to call them brothers and sisters. From the early days of Raleigh, to my days in Athens, GA... from Raleigh: the later years, to my current GSO crew, I enjoy "hanging" with them all and look forward to the years ahead.
I am currently working as a Front End Designer/Developer on the design team at Ushahidi.
