East West Club and Brisket Tacos are out of this world good. Great draft selection, usually a beer or two you don't see anywhere else. Love the whiskey list as well. And the River Des Peres is my favorite dirty martini anywhere. Only issue is I love the Dippy Melt and its not on the menu anymore. Bring back the Dippy!

Not as "hipster" as others make it out to be. Friendly staff. Great service. The food is exceptional. Beer selection is awesome.

There was only one other person there to order food. The menu has very few selections, around 7 entrees to choose from I guesstimate. Nothing kid appropriate. We're from out of town looking for a quick place to eat. And the majority of the meals were $11. My kids' meals for a quesadilla and chips were way too expensive. The food was okay. The waiter was nice. Just too expensive for the small amount of food.

The Royale sports one of the best cocktail line-ups in the city with an emphasis on old-world libations prepared with an attention to detail. It doesn't shirk on the beer line-up either with quite a few taps from excellent local craft breweries. Menus come bound in an eclectic mix of hardcovers from childrens tales and other literature. Inside those menus, you will find a short menu of creative dishes to satiate you while you enjoy the drinks. I really enjoyed the East-West Club which combines jerk marinated chicken with a yellow curry aioli. The sides are no pushover either, the hummus plate came with a mountain of hummus and plenty of delicious feta cubes. The warmer months take the Royale experience to a whole new level with the spacious outdoor patio. I think the patio is actually bigger than the main restaurant. Almost any day of the week you will find plenty of locals hanging by the fire enjoying each others company. The decor and ambiance at the Royale really captures the spirit of the neighborhood and will put you at ease during your stay.

Great beer selection. The food is good too. There are elevated boots against the wall, which are fun to sit in. The atmosphere a little weird, with Christmas lights and a mishmash of other decorations.

Exceptional spot for a burger and a local microbrew. Small menu is full of wholesome choices. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly bartenders and wait staff.

What a great bar! Friendly and talented bartenders. Delicious cocktails and even better food. There is a real hip vibe to this place. Looks like they also have a spacious patio for the warmer months. Also, if you're looking for a good place for a first date...look no further. I will be back!
