It took me some time to gather myself, and my thoughts after hearing this horrific tragedy today in Ct. Unfortunately this line is so appropriate today. "The streets of heaven are crowded tonight, the streets of heaven are crowded tonight, with our children, our teachers, our friends, and our loved ones. This morning 20 children went to school along with 8 others looking forward to the weekend, and a christmas with their family. Children eager to see what Santa would bring them. Tonight those 20 children and 8 other people will not be coming home. America will need to take a long and very hard look in the mirror tonight, and come to terms with herself. I still believe in Pres. Clinton's idea about all that is good with America is better and stronger than all that is bad. If the events of today, as well as the last couple of months is not a wake up call to us then I do not know what is. Tonight, a doctor was killed, a lawyer, an astronaut, maybe even a teacher. Tonight, we mourn, but joy, joy must come, it must come in the morning. "The streets of heaven are crowded tonight."
