Welcome to the mecca of liberal pseudoscience in the United States of America! This flagship Whole Foods is enormous and absolutely packed with groceries that will quickly exhaust all your monies. The parking lot is a technological wonder with each and every spot monitored for occupancy. They have a freaking ice-rink on the roof during the season Austin claims to be "winter." There is even a walk-in beer refrigerator, which is pretty much the only place I ever go when I come here. The vast selection of beers and wines is wonderfully supported by the staff's knowledge of their beverage holdings.

Such a nice experience compared to a regular grocery. If you are careful it doesn't have to be that expensive either. Their 365 brand is reasonable and don't purchase everything that looks good, because everything does. Pick and choose. The trattoria and the salad bar are wonderful, I eat there often. Knowing that all the meat at least meets the base line of humane treatment makes it easier to shop the butcher's market. The coffee is not my favorite, but the wine selection and prices make up for it! If you didn't know, there is a small playground with some shady seating on the plaza. Little hidden gem! I've even had friends have baby showers there ;-).

So I work right across the street from the flagship Whole Foods so it's an understatement to say I go there a lot. We've dubbed it Whole Paycheck as it can definitely get pricey. After going so many times, I have found a way around a less expensive lunch and the variety is one of the perks. They recently added a dim sum cart which makes a nice change but I'm still missing that Thai food. It literally has everything else you could be craving. There are also these great "health starts here" stickers on food that make me think eating the chocolate peanut butter banana pudding is good for me so there's that.

Is it weird that we take out of town guests here? Most people we take here for the first time are overwhelmed by it. I think this place is awesome. There are lot of organic and natural product sold here. Fresh local goods. The corporate location is huge. I wish they sold an all you can eat pass where you can eat at any of the food stations. The BBQ is solid. The dessert options are endless. You can also find a taco station, juice station, pizza, seafood, and Italian as some of the dining choices. You can go here with a bunch of friends for dinner, go your separate ways and order, and convene by the tables. The alcohol selection is also extensive. I can see why people call this place Whole Paycheck. I always spend a large amount of cash on junk. Imagine if we did our grocery shopping here solely?

This is the best Whole Foods you will ever go to! Trust me I am still setting low expectations by saying this. This Whole Foods has everything you could imagine. Of course it has the organic and unique products (and high prices), but coming to this whole foods is like an experience! First there are the dining options. There is a sushi bar, wine tasting bar, BBQ stand, sandwich stand, taco stand, stir fry stand, a noodle restaurant, and the most opulent selection of salad bar options you have ever seen. I must've spent 30 min trying to decide what I wanted for dinner. There's also a trail mix and peanut butter section. You can mix and match to create your own trail mix or make a tub of the flavors that have been pre-made. Also, on my way out I noticed a sign for the events that are hosted at the Whole Foods. Tomorrow night they are hosting a free yoga class outside. There are so many great things about this Whole Foods and you need to check it out for yourself!

Great grocery store where the employees are happy and that just rubs off on the customers. They have a great stock of just about everything. Whole foods is an all organic, non-gmo grocery store with environmentally friendly ethics. I have had a great experience every time and there is always someone willing to lend a hand.

I see that WholeFoods is advertising on TV quite a bit lately. Suggestion: Instead of spending all that money on advertising to get more customers - how about focusing on getting rid of all the flies in your stores? Disgusting!
