They are always out of waffle cones, this is always the case ... Over the last 15 years I have been going I have walked away many times. Recently 5 out of the last 5 times which is kind of ridiculous. Why even have a sign staying they have them? The owners must not care. Anyway, they serve Richardson ice cream which is excellent and is why I didnt give them 1 star. The girls behind the counter are always nice there also.

I grew up in Chelmsford and my family always visited this stand because that's what farm families did for each other, or so my grandmother and mother always told me. I was pleasantly surprised the first time and never disappointed since because the prices are always less than you think they should be, the ice cream scoop portions are huge, which balances out the cost if one realizes how much other ice cream stands charge, and the kids who get hired for the summer always try their best, no matter how rude certain customers can be. I love the out-doorsies decor because it's the closest thing to even still exist that resembles the real farms that Chelmsford really was up until 30+ years ago. The town culture will never be the same again, but at least the kids can have real dairy ice cream with more nutritional value than most store bought does.

I grew up eating Kimball's and Erickson's Ice Cream, but ever since moving to Chelmsford we've made a point to go to Sully's. The Mint Cookie and Reece’s Pieces are my favorite, but they have an eclectic mix of flavors that should make anyone's palate happy. The price is a little pricey, like most mom and pop places, but it's worth it.
