What's funny is... We all want what cable networks have the potential to offer. They have just fallen too far behind in tech and are too absorbed with making ad money to keep our attention. "500+ channels and nothing to watch"
So instead we are developing tech (chromecast, prime tv, etc) to serve the same purpose as cable tv but but with new tech and more content we want. I think this model works better because there is now competition between providers (netflix,amazon,hulu). Where as, a cable provider doesnt leave you much choice but to watch what they have or dont have cable.
Finally... Read a book! :-)
