Modern oceanfront hotel offering sleek rooms, dining, plus a pool, spa, & business center.- Google
"Rooms are a decent size and clean; amenities leave quite a bit to be desired."
"The only flaw I can think of is pool is too small and no coffee pot in the room."

Nice hotel.... but the location is far from the main strip in las olas. There are no balconies and the only outdoor space is the pool. Also the bar is really small, has no view at all, and they STILL charge $20 for one regular drink. We had a decent stay but I would not go back.

Location is perfect, right across from the beach. All rooms have an ocean view which was nice. Rooms look and smell clean. Hotel was very clean lobby has a great smell it's very inviting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was our favorite. Just wish we had a microwave in our room but other than that everything was perfect. We will definitely be visiting the Sonesta again on our next trip back to Florida

It was average. The location is nice since the mall and restaurant's are a mile away. Only issues I have is the pool is really small for a hotel this big and your view there is the back wall of the hotel. Also its a non-smoking hotel but i had to change rooms because someone around my room was smoking. Also, just to let yall know the pictures on the website or super edited. The rooms are nice but there not as white and bright as the picture shows. Food selection in the restaurant is really small and over priced in my opinion. It is across the beach so any room will get you a beach view.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and a great view if you have oceanside. We had a pleasant time staying here. It is a short walk over the bridge to Publix(grocery) which makes it ideal to pickup any general items. However it does not have a large selection of places to eat and drink in real close proximity but it being away from the other large hotels keeps the beach less busy during the day. Parking is a little pricey for being a guest but you don't really have many options.

I visited for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. It was my birthday gift to myself. The staff was pleasant, the hotel was clean and beautiful, and the view I had was lovely and breath taking. Will be back to visit again in the future.

Hotel itself is great. Very modern, excellent location, conveniently across the street from the beach, friendly and helpful staff. However, their parking method is a bit inconvenient (valet only without access to your vehicle at any time). Also, the time it took to get our bags to the room was very extensive. There is a pool bar with a female bartender/server who was amazing!! She is definitely one of a kind. Super sweet with younger guests, bubbly personality, she can strike up a conversation with anyone about anything, fast and efficient serving food and making drinks. They are lucky to have her there. Pool was ok, nothing out of this world, just a regular 3-5 Ft pool. No spalsh zone for little ones or water toys. The rooms were simple. No microwaves inside and they won't make arrangements to bring one up. It was clean and modern, innovative architectural deco style. Had a mini fridge and a Keurig coffeemaker. WiFi signal was terrible. Overall experience was very nice for a 1 night stay if ur going to Ft. Lauderdale beach. They offer beach chaise longs for guests staying at the hotel til 5pm. No umbrellas, though.
