Hi Lovely Untamed,
I have a cosmetologist license and also studied for the esthetician part. I would do skincare in the morning and afternoons did the hair part. Now I'm a stay at home mom. I still have my license so that when I return to work I can do what I love. This profession takes time to build the experience, the clientele and confidence. Begin working for someone and build from there. You could work for a spa, a hotel, a salon, a medical spa or eventually do your own thing. I love everything related to beauty and try to be in the know of what is new. You won't have all the answers but that's ok. You are not alone. You are at crossroads and you have to choose a path. That's important. Don't be hard on yourself. I know how you are feeling all too well!
Hope this helps!

Hi.
So I'm considering attending school to become an esthetician. I've considered this occupation for about 5 years no, but personal problems got in the way.
Anyway, anyone here an esthetician or in school? Can you please tell me as much as you can about it? Is it worth it? What are some career opportunities?
I'm rather desperate and depressed, and on the verge of suicide.
I need a solid career.
