#StudentSuccessStories

My time at EBS has helped me to develop a strong sense of who I am right now and who I will be in the future, to visualize my goals and to reflect the impact I can make.
Working in teams, sharing the vision, formulating goals, and watching the results. My commitment as Head of Speaker Relations at EBS Symposium illustrates well what motivates me and drives me to give my best.
Aim high, push yourself and love what you do: For me, personal success is no accident. It comes from talent, hard work, commitment, and learning. But first of all, it comes from dedication to what one is doing. I do what I love and always stay true to myself and consistent with my own values. This helps to keep passionate and makes it easy to move forward.
However, for me, it is not only highly important to achieve my own goals, but also to make a significant difference and contribute positively to our society. Being the Leader of EBS Students Help helps me to do so to give something back.

"What makes a success story a success story? I am convinced that every part of our lives and every individual success story depends on the people around us. Those who believe in us, who support us, who challenge us, who enable our personal growth and evolvement. This is why I love to surround myself with interesting people from the most diverse backgrounds. To learn from each other, to grow together, to team-up and make a difference. Personally, I found a whole community of such people within the EBS family and I am proud to be part of this unique team spirit. Looking back on the past month, I can truly say that my friends, fellows and professors have boosted my individual success story."

I met people living on the breadline with no future prospects, children working in factories instead of going to school and women forced to live in a society ruled by men. Throughout my life I have been thinking about these people and tried to listen to their stories when no one else would. It was in Africa when I for the first time had the chance to make a difference. Giving women the chance to become independent and actively contributing to a revolutionary change was a very fulfilling experience and I realized that there is still so much more to do. I have a burning desire to use my knowledge and create wealth and opportunities for underprivileged people especially those we are not told about in the news.

This is the most exciting and uncertain time to be working in the industry.”

He works as a smart city manager at moovel group (Daimler AG), a venture which develops visionary ideas regarding urban mobility solutions.

On July 4, the Law School Student Help Team launched a DKMS typing campaign. A total of 42 students and staff have registered and many have already done so. In addition, donations and the sale of waffles raised about 200€, which will benefit DKMS. We are glad that so many participated!
