While traveling with my little sister on her spring break, we came across this hotel. They were the highest rated place around yet they still had reasonable prices. From the moment you arrive you feel good about the decision, and safe, which is the most important part. The staff is excellent, friendly and attentive. The grounds and amenities are spotless, featuring a heated pool and hot tub, workout room, free wifi and a giant lobby with a massive fire going that just welcomes you in and makes for a nice cozy place to recharge. Whether you're coming to stay for a few days or just passing through, It's a must that you stay here. However, you will most definitely feel spoiled and you will end up comparing all other hotels along your trip to this one! Con: No free breakfast Pro: They're restaurant is delicious Safe travels~ Cheers!

WARNING – This place is not what it seems. Being an avid traveler throughout the US for work and around the world for pleasure, I consider traveler reviews with great regard. Unfortunately, it seems my husband and I’ve fallen victim to the “not so typical customer experience” at the Olympic Lodge. While traveling at the end of August 2015, we booked the King Bed with Patio based on the website description. We were placed in the last room on the first floor nearest the parking lot. The room had a musky odor, poor lighting, sliding door to the patio was difficult to open, and furnishings outdated. The online photos do not accurately depict the chain link fence, extremely modest sided patio, and close proximity to the public walkway (rather calling it a “tranquil” pathway which was not free from disturbance and commotion as that would mean). Hoping for an explanation of the misrepresentation and gain an understanding of our options, we spoke with front desk staff. They were very impolite and defensive, and did not offer one apology or explanation. We expressed the dissatisfaction and asked for a solution when we were advised only the manager can make decisions or provide explanations. Upon requesting our reservations be cancelled, we were assured the manager would be contacting us the following day (Monday, August 31st). When we failed to receive a call, my husband contacted the General Manager, who not only was downright rude, but showed a severe lack of hospitality and professional courtesy as one would come to expect when speaking with management. The General Manager stated there was nothing she could do in regards to our experience and if there wasn't anything else he needed she was hanging up the phone. To manage a hotel is a real job, it is unacceptable when the General Manager is unable to resolve an issue effectively, least not showing much compassion. However, we would understand if the property is not perfect (but this was wrongly conveyed through the website). AVOID THIS HOTEL, stay elsewhere in Port Angeles!

It was really a nice surprise, lobby well decorated, heated pool, really big room, with a very confortable king bed, comfortable desk. Views to the golf course, beatifully manicured, even with a small water stream. At the edge of Port Angeles, there was complete silence at night, we could hear the frogs at night from! Perfectly located to explore Olympic Parck, they even gave us a very detailed guide of things to do and see. Will definitely have to come back! Can not say anything about the breakfast as we had to go really early.

After driving around and laying eyes on some of the other accommodations in the area, my wife and I couldn't have been happier that we chose the Olympic Lodge. The location was great, being only a few minutes from the ferry terminal, the rooms were lovely and cozy, and the fireplace in the lobby was an extra special touch. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and for making our stay enjoyable! If we're ever in the area again, Olympic Lodge would be our hotel of choice.

It's the highest quality stay that you will find in the area. It's not a big city fancy hotel, but it's definitely classy, clean, and you will get good service from friendly staff.

This place definitely has a beautiful feel too it. The room was very nice and clean and that is really what every one wants when coming back after a day of hiking and driving to different places along the coast line. The only thing that I found very disappointing was that the amenities were lacking. It is one of the highest priced places to stay and it did not have a Continental Breakfast. For the price I would have thought they could have had a coffee bar with a variety of creamers etc. They do have a full service breakfast restaurant with regular restaurant prices. At $260.00 per night I would have expected a little more of the extras that many other hotels provide for a more moderately priced stay.

Nice Hotel. Extremely friendly staff. I spent an hour in the lobby working on my laptop by the fireplace talking with staff. There's an indoor pool. Vending machines take credit cards. Worth booking.
