• Provide education, advice and support to help women navigate this important transition
• Connect local companies with qualified candidates to fill currently open positions and their recruiting pipelines
• Place more returning women in the workforce to increase diversity in local companies and boost the North Carolina economy
• Have more returning women in the workforce as advocates for this population in corporate America
• Reach out to women in need via a small number of conference scholarships offered through a local organization such as Catholic Charities

Our Misssion
To prepare professional women who are returning to the workforce for a fulfilling career by educating them about new business tools and trends, refreshing their existing business skills, preparing them to conduct a successful job search and connecting conference attendees to local recruiters who value the maturity, skills and dedication that returning women bring to a job.

A recent survey conducted by Back to Business of Triangle-area women who are considering returning to work after an employment gap indicated that 79% of respondents feel they do not possess the right skills to re-enter the job market right now.  Technology, digital marketing and networking skills are the three professional skills respondents felt they most need in order to be successful in the job market.
