So I have this company on my credit report talking about I owe them almost $1000. Now I have contacted them several years ago about this matter and it has not been resolved yet. Now let me remind you that I have never been to this place ever, I don't even know what it looks like, but yet I have one of their properties on my credit report. Years ago when I went investigating it, it took almost two weeks for someone to contact me back and when they finally did the representative told me that I was not in their system. Okay this I already knew, but why in the world are they on my credit report taking my credit score down. Anyways, I finally went through the courts where the judgement order was presented and I gave them the reference number for the account, my social and my name. Well they responded back and said that the reference number was correct but it was listed under another name and social security number, so why in the heck are is it on my report affecting me. Here it is 4 years later and I'm still fighting this, the problem has not been resolved yet and they have not made an effort to resolve it. Looks like I will have to GPS this location and take me a trip down there and straighten this mess myself. This is one of the worst things you could ever do to a person.

Our experience was extremely accommodating. We had a frozen water drain pipe in our 2 bedroom unit in the laundry room due to extreme cold temperatures which caused some minor flooding. We know this was beyond anyone’s control. Maintenance responded quickly to our unit and began to work on the frozen pipe and cleaned up the water for us. The manager overheard my wife talking to someone about it at the pool and he immediately offered to move us to another unit. We declined his offer since we had settled in already, loved our location, and had the 1 bedroom unit as well which allowed us to use the washer and dryer while maintenance worked on the frozen pipe. The manager also offered to buy us dinner for our troubles and gave us a gift card. We asked him about staying an extra 2 days beyond our 7 day stay and he was able to accommodate us with this request as well. Our cottage was very clean and well stocked and equipped with everything we could ever need on our vacation. It truly is a home away from home. The staff was very polite and continued to ask if there was anything we needed. The maintenance crew was right on top of things checking and removing our garbage daily, checking roofs and removing snow and ice. Our family did not anticipate a major snow storm with 7 plus inches, but much to our surprise at around 8:45 in the morning, as snow was still falling, there was a gentleman plowing our road and 2 gentlemen shoveling our vehicle out! What service we received above and beyond what we expected. Overall we were very impressed and satisfied and highly recommend King's Creek Plantation. This was our first stay with them and we are hoping to reserve a unit again next year.

This is the worst company to do business with......I did not do as much research as i should have before buying into this...(if i could sell i would ASAP)......PLEASE IF ANYONE IS THINKING OF PURCHASING HERE.......THINK 2, 3, 4 TIMES.....AND THEN NO.......LOOKS GOOD....BUT YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT LOOKS.............I could go on about this, but i believe that you get what i am saying.......JUST SAY NO.........

The facilities are average minus but the absolutely immoral business practices are why this Plantation should not get any of your money! Many people already know better than to get involved with a timeshare here but for those who don't be forewarned. They misled my senior citizen mother and have taken advantage of her gentility, trapped her into a $700 + maintenance fee per/year situation that she was told she cannot give away or sell without paying $3900 dollars. If I can help just one person know better than to conduct business with this establishment then this post is worth it. What was most fascinating about my conversation with the ownership services people was that they readily admit about 50% of the folks they scammed into owner timeshares are frustrated and trapped by the contract they sign. What business other industry functions like this??? Sadly if you are going to stay in the same place every year you can definitely find a better deal than the 700 dollars you pay for the week. Not to mention the 15,000 dollars it costs to buy a property. Bottom line: Proceed with caution. The location is very underwhelming, the service mediocre-minus, the time-share component to this property should be studied in law schools and business schools around the world for its nefarious practices. This place is brutal...avoid there are far better options if you want to travel to Williamsburg VA

Our experience was very disappointing. The check in process was quick and did not give us much information about how things worked. There was no info in room about housekeeping guidelines or where things were located in room. When I called housekeeping about getting extra towels, they informed us it would be $2.50 per towel. There were no sheets or pillows for fold out couch. Blankets were thin. There were ants in the room and the air filter in closet was very dirty. The carpet in room was very dirty as well. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor. The most disappointing thing was the pool. You had to get pool towels from the front desk using a card system and you had to return the towels before leaving to get cards back. The pool itself was disturbing. Kids in the hot tub, men drinking alcohol in hot tub and passing out in chairs around pool. Not a very well maintained area and we felt unsafe by the lack of oversight. Will not return to this resort.

Haven't been there but just received a cold call from their telemarketing department because of a Sweepstakes card i filled out at a Golf show. Their course and facilities might be excellent but this review is solely in regards to their telemarketing staff. The first gentleman was nice and made it the 4 day trip package like a good deal, in actuality it was a good deal. He put the "manager" on the phone for an "added bonus" that i qualified for being over a certain age. The manager began by telling me this deal is only good for the next two minutes because he's not calling me back. Already starting to show his attitude, I told him that i don't just buy a deal from a cold call without doing research and he says, "well Google us right now because you only have 2 minutes to take it", then he proceeds with "you had all this time after filling out the card, why didn't you research us then. I filled the card out a year go by the way. Keep in mind this card that i filled out was for a sweepstakes drawing, not for calling me about promotions. If i didn't win the sweepstakes then they shouldn't be calling me in the first place but that's what they always do so i understand they're trying to get business. Well the manager kept on about how i had so much time to research them and i told him that i filled out a lot of cards that day and what does he expect me to do, research every golf course that i filled out a card for?.. So he told me "well don't fill out cards anymore", and then hung up.. The first part of the call sounded great and I would have definitely considered the package had they given me time to research them but the "manager" was not so rude. If they read this, hopefully they understand that they called me for business, therefore, they need to learn to show respect to potential business contacts instead of downplaying us like we need their service. Their loss as I travel often for golf (Florida this weekend and either MD or Va in mid/late March).

The pool area needs updating asap. Did not look clean at all. There is not enough to do on site. Definitely not a place for families with small children or anyone under 40yrs old.

My husband and I stayed here this passed week and it was okay. When we got there, the refrigerator smelled like a dead fish had rotted away in it and the apartment (the "estate") smelled like smoke and the air filter to the apartment was absolutely filthy. They were very accommodating and came out to clean the fridge and change the air filter. The fridge smelled a little better, but not much, I had to wash everything that I brought home with me. The grill outside of our "estate" was probably a great grill when it was brand new, however, they did not maintain it well and it wouldn't light. Thank goodness I know how to "grill" inside with the oven broiler. The carpets weren't cleaned to our standards of our own home, but we use a rainbow vacuum cleaner that has an amazing hepa filter to it. The laundry was amazing! If we had the same set up in our old apartment, we would have stayed there longer! I came home with all clean clothes! :) All in all, I think they need to do a better job at maintaining the properties, especially when people are actually paying dues to the company for the maintenance of the properties.
