Wow! I never thought I would find a discussion that would allow me to actually figure out the truth for myself without the patience of Job and the education of a tax attorney. This is a GREAT piece for those who want to understand a bit about your taxes and how we stand in the world.

Great information for us. Sadly, we are still not even being heard but with our legislative efforts with Congressman McHenrys' office and others we are looking to one day making this truly by the investor and for the investor....real estate investor, that is!

I'm looking for some help in filling a position for an onsite admin.  Position description is as follows:

Existing Real Estate Associations President has a Startup + event launch of Real Estate Investing and Finance Non-Profit sister Association, and is in search of an exceptional member to join our busy and expanding team.  We are seeking those hungry to be part of a team that is reinventing from business to social business.   You get the opportunity to help us grow our core business and launch our new non-profit by being the President’s right hand person.  If you are simply looking for a paycheck we won’t be a fit.   Ideal candidates will want to continue further down the road as we prove this vision to the world.   We only play for BIG VISION here.  

All situations considered.  Ideal scenario would be a mostly full-time position with some opportunity for virtual commuting.  The majority of our team is spread across the country so YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH ONLINE MEETING PLATFORMS (Skype, Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, etc).

Imperative Skills:
Ability to work WITHOUT being micro-managed.
Be equally comfortable giving AND following directions.
Love learning & mastering new skills.
Ability to organize, multi-task & move in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail.
Dependable & Responsible
Help implement social media campaign
Copywriting and article writing.

Needed Skills:
Good typing and grammar.
MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.  Proficient with Microsoft Office 2007-2013 (Word, Excel, & Powerpoint).
Be familiar with internet research.
Be able to effectively use usual office equipment. (Android/Iphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, scanner, copier, etc).

These skills are a plus:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphic design program knowledge is a BIG plus.
Social Media posting and monitoring
Website posting
Marketing materials creations (flyers, brochures, ads etc).

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Managing the President’s schedule including setting meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements.
Communicating with Team Members to confirm timelines are maintained and updates are flowing.
Ordering and picking up supplies.
Handling general correspondence.
Some personal errands.

Ideal candidate will be comfortable working at either the main office, home office or virtually and be able to determine on the proper attire for the day; must be adaptable!
