I'm looking for a Digital Content Producer based in Leeds/Yorkshire to help my team and the charity achieve some great content marketing goals on desktop/mobile/owned/blog/social this year. Interested? Apply via the link.

[Agency peeps: you're lovely, you do sterling work, your mother thinks you do a great job (you should call her more often though), but not today thank you.]

A walk in the snow in the eastern Lake District today. Snow was still really deep (10 foot in places) but then the weather was warm and springlike. Very odd, but meant wonderful views...

"There are people who live long enough to create a link - a one-generation link - to figures from what feels like a distant past, and their presence among us shrinks history."

I love these seemingly impossible links across time. It came from watching Ken Burns' Civil War documentary quite a few years ago and seeing colour footage of US civil war veterans - it didn't seem possible.

Great site, well-written prose and a wonderful photo to boot. +Christopher Penn is now filed in my "people to listen to" circle.
Lessons from 6am

The beauty of this post by +Christopher Penn (who you should circle) is that it's so subtle, and yet so meaningful. People PAY for this kind of advice.

Great Guardian article from +Helen Barrett on Google+ and charities, featuring a couple of quotes from yours truly.

"All we can do is experiment because Google won't tell us how it works, but it has to help because it is, after all, Google. We're curating Google+ once or twice a day to see if there's traction. And these new features can only help us."

Who's a Spartan and who’s a Monarch in your relationship? Interesting article on how couples manage money without conflict.
