If you're looking to keep your kids entertained, use Google Images to find coloring pages. Say that your child is going through a phase where he or she is obsessed with dinosaurs, specifically T-Rex. On Google Images, search for [t rex] and under Search tools, filter for Line drawing. Your search results will update to only show black and white drawings of T-Rex. Alternatively, black and white image results generally show when you add [coloring pages] to your query, such as [t rex coloring pages]. Click View original image, then print from your browser and let the coloring begin!

Did you know that you can use a Custom Search Engine on your website in just a few minutes?  A Custom Search Engine is a search box for your website that prioritizes or restricts search results based on websites and pages you specify. It contains several automatic built-in features such as autocomplete typing, result sorting and thumbnail previews. You can also apply your website's look and feel to the search engine, and the search engine is mobile-friendly so your visitors have comparable experiences on your site across devices. After specifying what pages you want to include in your index, Google generates a piece of code for your website. To create your own Custom Search Engine, head to www.google.com/cse to get started.

The nice folks of the +Open Knowledge Foundation have written an article about the upcoming #publicdomain  day 2013.
Have a look in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:1942_deaths on #WikiCommons  and check if your GLAM partner features any content!

Just noticed this smart categorisation system from the nice folks of #Zooniverse  A system that would make #WikiCommons  easy and userfriendly.
