Hi Mike, you really don't need to buy the tape. My expert instructor told taught me how to attach two pieces together with a simple herringbone stitch which catches one side of the batting and then the other. It stays together too..;-) Aren't baby quilts so fun to make! Das Baby kann drauf ganz gut schlafen und toben.

Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I've done it both ways, but if you have the tape it's really fast and handy... and the tape has other applications as well :)
