just curious.. wouldn't the 14mm become 28mm with the zuiko 14-35mm? why is it that when you used the nikon 24mm which is now 17mm be closer to you? did you move the camera closer?
as for your question. get rid of it. send it to me. hehe. please
Thanks for the explanation, now I understand. 24mm becomes 35mm to get the full frame equivalent. and if i were to use 50mm it becomes 72mm equivalent. but still keep the light sucking equivalent of the original f-stop multiplied by .72x .
as for focal depth of field, i dont really multiply it by 2. I just simply calculate it as f1.8 on a 50mm. whether i use it on a full frame or a m43.
The difference only being that if i were to take a subject with the same framing, the subject would be farther which means less bokeh, since bokeh is also affected by the distance of the subject from the lens.
So a 50mm on a m43's bokeh in reality is still actually equal to a 50mm in full frame when you crop the image. now my head hurts. hahaha.
Thank you for the explanation!!! ^___^
I hope metabones can make one that is multiplied .50x. i'd definitely buy it.
