What a fabulous evening to be out making images of the gorgeous whiterocks beach including the arch in the foreground. It was a little windy and the thick grass always makes it difficult to get your tripod down. It's amazing how after 6 years I still under dress to go out for these shots.

So the other evening i went out for a evening of photos, ever so hopeful that we would have a great sunset, now it was not bad but not spectacular either. I have an idea for my final image an although this is not it, im still pleased with how it turned out. The tide was just starting to come in, the sea was super calm, felt abit like been at a huge lake and not cold at all. With a 2min exposure i achieved the desired effect on the water, but the clouds were just not moving fast enough. To be honest i was not after really wanting an orange sunset but more a muted grey tone and also because the tide was out a fair way, my composition i had scouted out previously had changed. Never the less still had fun. Enjoy and feel free to share the love +Ireland +Ireland +Wild Atlantic Way

A fine evening yesterday for making an image or two, scouted out this location sometime ago and weather lookin good for an ok sunset i headed out. One issue i often encounter here on the north coast is the thick grass which makes it really difficult to plant your tripod down properly, but with a little effort you can kind of get it down. Been a little windy i could not do the long exposure i had wanted to. and also having a cloud base on the horizon make for a drop in the sunset pretty quick and the clouds dont really get lit up as one would like them to be, but thats what you get from mother nature.
This cliff line is riddled with many little and big caves some you can go into some not, a great site to behold, but for now enjoy this little peace of the north coast

Light waits for no one
This is my first image from our recent German trip, i was so looking forward to shooing this city, so many locations, with only 3 days it was going to be a tough ask. Not wanting to over shadow the trip with must do or else shoots, i mostly had planned shoots for sunset and sunrise, with architectural shots planned if the weather was conducive to it.

Now i have to say the 3 days was filled with a comedy of errors regarding my planned shoots, but nothing some duct tape could not fix but more on that later, needless to say it did not look very professional but i got the shot and thats all that matters.

This image shot early morning in what i was hoping to be a glorious sunrise but it was not to be. Id arrived a little late as it was really difficult to get out of the lovely warm hotel room bed, but dragged myself down to this location and fired away. A really beautiful city to shoot in with endless possibilities, and Porches  by the dozen.

So here is my dilemma I'm having, I have no idea how or why it's happening but hopefully someone out there might shed some light. I just bought some ram to push my total ram from 8to 16. So I'm sure it pretty straight forward turn off slot them in turn on, nothing else to do. So I start up LR5 and get an error saying cat is corrupt... Hey, so it gives the option to repair, but it says it can't, but it worked fine 10 min ago. So take out ram turn on and suddenly LR can repair the catalog that actually was not broken. And it works fine. Did the whole procedure again with the same results.

So now I'm stumped have no idea what to do, the ram seems to be working fine as it shows up as been installed, but somehow LR has an issue how I don't know. So any help would be appreciated, running a Dell xps 17inch 3d
