We don't have the Google Play Music thing in Canada, but check out MASS:LIGHT in your country....

I've been a fan of Murray's work with The Dears for years. This first solo album is a departure but brilliant.

Join me online at 6:30PM EDT for a Google Hangout -- add your $0.02 about the pros and cons of being in Quebec.
Stay or Go is a CBC Montreal exclusive two-week series that delves into the factors influencing Quebecers' decisions to stay or leave the province. Based on results from a CBC commissioned EKOS poll, the series will tackle key issues related to Quebec’s out-migration, the current relationship between Quebec's English and French-speaking population and how hopeful people are about their future in this province.

MOTHERF___ERS! Free ting!
From Murray A. Lightburn's MASS:LIGHT: “MOTHERF***ERS,” the debut video with single available for free download NOW. To be released Summer 2013, Murray A. Lightburn's MASS:LIGHT is an electronic pop opera and the first (truly) solo endeavour for The Dears' lead singer/songwriter.

There is an anime by the creator of Akira, Katsuhiro Otomo, called Roujin Z made in '91,  which this instantly reminded me of (in a good way). Couldn't be more different, but the same, also, just with their weird sense of humor.... It's your "After All," meets Godzilla, pretty much. Totally obscure and rediculous. I wonder if it wouldn't give you a laugh even to see the cover art...    :)

You're work, and the topics you must mull over, constantly, have all been completely fascinating and well done. I should get on here more than once a month, I guess, but I catch up when I can. Nice job!
