This makes me ecstatically happy. I think I need to kiss an old lady, slap and evildoer, and buy a child an ice cream cone.

What a lovely review of my new novel, coming July 1!
George Dermont knows who he's looking for, but just can't find her. She needs to be an astronomer with brown hair who also happens to be a dreamer.

Black Holes and Book Events
When I knit, I knit obsessively. Lately, I've made a lot of these: Some I have already given away. I gave them to bookstores who supported Shine Shine Shine , to bloggers and blurbers, to author friends and others. I made little tags that said "Black Hole a...

How to Buy an e-Book from your Local Indie Bookstore
You may have heard the theory, currently being batted about on the internet, that buying books from Amazon will give you fleas, cause your hair to become dull and listless, send nuclear warships to Narnia, and cause the ghost of Charles Dickens to moan and ...

LAUNCHING TODAY! Everybody's Baby is the story of Jenna and Billy, who raise funds for their fertility on Kickstarter, offering donor perks like cutting the cord, naming the baby, and catching the baby when it takes its first steps.

The good news is that they make their fundraising goal, get pregnant and have a baby! The bad news is that their marriage begins to fall apart when they have to deliver on all those perks. It’s hard enough to survive delivering a baby without a performance artist making a mockumentary of the cord cutting. What does it mean to be owned by the internet? Everybody's Baby explores how relationships grow and fail in public and private life, the hazards of living “in the cloud,” and the nature of love online and off.

AVAILABLE NOW on Kobo, Kindle, Nook, iTunes, and Google Books.
