STRIDE TIP OF THE DAY from one of our 5th Grade Teachers:

Do you have a student who continues to click rapidly through the answer choices in Stride? Try this tip! Instead of turning off the games as punishment, make a deal with them. If they can slow down, take their time answering questions and earn 50 coins, you will double their coins for free game time. This really works! I have a student who was rapid clicking every single day and losing all of his coins. So far, I have not received an email about his coins being taken away, and I have had to double his coins twice!

Share this Stride tip with a fellow educator.

Today, we are celebrating our Teacher of the Month, Deb Grimes at Tom Mccall Upper Elementary!

Deb's principal, Chandra Cooper, had great things to say about her:
"She is absolutely a leader with Stride which is why I have asked her to be my Stride expert! Deb has taken on the additional role this year of providing support and training to staff who need help with full implementation of Stride. She is truly awesome!"

Thank you, Deb, for all of your hard work and for your dedication to your students and Stride! You are truly a #MonumentalAchiever!

"I love using StrideXchange with my students because they have the opportunity to practice typing skills, practice real world emailing skills, and to tell me something about what they've learned."

How are you using StrideXchange with your students?
